I feel like Ja’Marr won’t sign an extension this offseason. Like this team is ridiculous about nothing giving up money after year one and he’s a generational player whose also Joey’s number , so you’d think they take care of business, but they haven’t even spoken to him bro . Idc if he’s waiting for Justin Jefferson even Joe had talks at this point.

Ja'Marr won't sign an extension that he feels isn't worth it. If Ja'Marr were to sign an extension that helps Tee then that would be great. Ja'Marr isn't waiting for Justin Jefferson either. Fans have speculated that JJ is going to come to Cincinnati after denying a $40 million dollar extension (or something like that) with the Vikings after Kirk Cousins left for Atlanta.

The entire speculation of JJ coming to the Bengals is something that I've entertained but I don't think will happen because there's no way that if JJ were to come to the Bengals, that they'd be able to pay Ja'Marr as well.

Think about it, everyone wants the Bayou Trio to come back especially since the next Super Bowl is in Louisiana but let's face it. Everyone wants what they're worth and not everyone's going to get that.

Also Ja’Marr just liked Joes post without commenting anything or posting something on his story. I know he’s probably grieving and upset but give us a lil something to be happy about 🥲

i am trying to hard to rationalize a way that it ISN'T the last time joe plays with tee or tb. i've heard that tb could be more likely to come back then tee, just because his price wouldn't be as high? but i honestly have no idea. and then with tee i'm just holding out that we tag him to keep him for at least one more year. but also not something i really know much about. it just sucks :( what a shitty situation all around.

i was telling a friend actually that i saw it took ja'marr over an hour to like joe's post when normally he's on that shit immediately lol. he must really be grieving 😔

this is a really tough year for ja'marr just via all the shit that's go down with joe, and i hate that for him. but i don't think it's been enough to deter him from wanting to stay with joe. let's just hope that the front office gets all that figured out this off season!

NFL Week 16

What a phenomenal weekend of wideout play. I never thought I’d see the day when a wideout would break the daunted 2,000 yard receiving barrier that no one has ever achieved. Justin “The Man” Jefferson only needs to average 104/g for a total of 208 yards to achieve 2,000 on the season. I damn near feel like he will get that this weekend and then pad his numbers to end the regular season. Jefferson and Ceedee Lamb will split the wideout of the week award. Jefferson finished his day with 12 catches for 133 yards and 1 touchdown on a tough dig route near the end zone. His team won and the Minnesota Vikings appear to be having a magical season. Lamb had 10 catches for 120 yards with two scores. I love the aggressiveness Lamb displays and his hunger after the catch. 

Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill are clearly being hindered right now. Yes, Waddle had 5 catches for 143 yards and 1 amazing touchdown where he out ran defenders and broke a few tackles for an 84-yard score. Hill had 4 catches for 103 with no scores. There are many times the speedy duo is open and Tua just doesn’t have it. I’m hoping Bridgewater can get the ball to “Cheetah” Hill so he can have a shot at 2,000 in his best season to date. 

Tee Higgins of the Cincinnati Bengals has quietly balled under the radar. He currently is 11th with 1,022 yards on the season. The Bengals look hot and I’d hate to be a defense facing their trio of wideouts. Higgins finished the day with 8 catches for 128 yards. Jerry Jeudy looked explosive this weekend. He runs like my frat brother who ran 4.26 3 times in college during junior pro day. Jeudy is knocked knee, which helps his agility tremendously. Too bad Russell Wilson has performed awfully which has stifled Jeudy’s productivity. On the afternoon he finished the game with 6 catches for 117 yards. 

Devonta Smith and AJ Brown both had productive outings against the Dallas Cowboys. Smith had 8 catches for 113 yards and 2 TD’s. Brown had 6 catches for 103 yards with no tubs. They didn’t have Jalen Hurts at the helm and found a way to compete in a close loss. I look forward for these boys to put on a show and make a run at the Super Bowl. 

The Detroit Lions have weapons all over the field. A name I hadn’t heard all year DJ Chark, caught 4 passes for 108 yards with zero touchdowns. Chark is fast and if the Lions happen to sneak into the playoffs I would not want to face this explosive offense. 

Keenan Allen had a good day at the office. Allen caught 11 catches for 104 yards and was a huge factor in the Chargers win. It’s satisfying seeing Allen healthy and finishing a full game. 

Kendrick Bourne rounds out the list of wideouts who had at least 100 yards receiving. Bourne scored against a Bengals defense who hadn’t given up a touchdown in the second half of their past 7 games. He finished his day with 6 catches for 100 yards and that lone score.

modern au ask. What are the gangs personal clothing styles ?

ooooo.... i'm not very fashionable nor am i rlly confident abt my knowledge of styles & stuff so i'm sorry if it's not as creative as it could be :')

hiccup i see a lot of layers, similar to how he dresses in the dreamworks franchise. as he gets older there's more leather since he does a lot of motorcycle riding. flannels, graphic tees, baggier cargo pants & shorts & sneakers are his general go-to. has a nice pair of chucks he brings out once in a while. no piercings but he has a tattoo of toothless' strike class silhouette on one of his shoulder blades.

astrid dresses practically. usually in a pair of jeans or leggings. when she dresses more casually it's basketball shorts with a jersey of some kind. she wears jerseys relatively often too. also shirts she can easily move & breathe in. i think she'd like horizontal stripes for shirts but i might be projecting lol. she's got multiple ear piercings on both ears tho. she also loves her headbands!!! gets a specially made one from tuff & snot with stormfly's spines on it!! steel toed boots.

fishlegs dresses like a hipster. have u seen his moustache in httyd 3?? he's a hipster & he fucking rocks it. also rocks a lot of street styles he's one of the most fashionable of the gang & he is proud of it. he looks great always. gets the tattoos on his arms like he has in httyd 3. he also likes wearing rings!! has a wooden bead bracelet he wears from his older sister. uses stuff like beard oil & is super into skincare. u will catch him with a face mask & cucumbers over his eyes.

snotlout prob goes through the biggest style shift. when he's younger he dresses like the usual high school douchebag, backwards cap & everything. once he's a senior & after he graduates he's more biker style (he does become a biker dude after all). super tight t-shirts that show his boobs lmao. he gets his ears pierced & gets a labret piercing. tattoo sleeve on his right arm of monstrous nightmares entangling around each other. old habits die hard tho so sometimes u catch him with his backwards cap. heeled boots bc he likes to be tall.

ruffnut is so fucking cool u guys. she dresses in a variety of styles, sometimes vastly different day to day but she pulls them all off flawlessly. strong fashion is actually how she & fishlegs bond sometimes (or argue lmao). she's got so many ear piercings & switches out what she has by the day. she does her hair the most elaborately out of the gang, when it's long or short. loves long necklaces & layers them. has her nose pierced too. she has a tattoo of barf going down her calf (tuff has the other half so if they stand next to each other it completes the zippleback!!). her fave pair of shoes tho are her sketchers hiking sandals. let the dogs out!!!

tuff is also so fucking cool, though in a more laid back way compared to ruff. more grungy. ripped jeans from falling off his longboard. old sneakers that have been everywhere. shirts he's had since middle school that may be repurposed to have ripped sleeves or become crop tops. that ugly dress u saw at a thrift store? he's wearing it & fucking looks great. he has his septum pierced and multiple ear piercings (like httyd 3). i also think he'd get snake bites. when he's younger he wears beanies a lot but once he's older he puts his hair up in more elaborate "viking" styles with how he braids. also enjoys tank tops & more frayed looks to shirts in general. has belch tattooed down his calf (ruff has the other half, as stated above).

A Slice of Lime, Please⎮Ink Drinker Modern Vikings AU [Ivar x F!Reader]⎮Deleted Scene

Author's Note: With the general time line of this blurb, and the video I saw earlier, I've concocted this piece. And trust me, I was grinning like an idiot the whole day at the station as I kept going back to this. This is a much lighter piece over the angst of the next blurb coming. I said what I said.

It’s sweaty bodies, music a bit too loud for your liking, and the general wave of the patterns voices as eye swatch the game on the screen. They pull out quietly, only to round up their decibels a moment later. You agreed to the night out when you were in much better spirits and now you’re following through with it all and you hate it. 

These are the moments you loathe—being out with nothing to show for the fact that you and Ivar are together. Except, you’re not. To keep the bubbling beast of Ivar’s anxiety at bay, but you would go to the ends of the earth if you thought it would help him.

Sometimes, you wonder if anyone knows; every so often you catch Hvitserk looking at you for a second more than what seems appropriate. And rather than question it, you let him sit in his own unease with whatever it is he’s searching for. Right now, it’s his expression as he watches you, watch another woman offering to buy Ivar a shot. 

You watch this woman undress him with her eyes, pulling the black tee from where it’s tucked to reveal the ink on his chest, the muscles you traced your nails over that morning. How she brings her pupils up and down and wonders if his size matches with what she’s looking at. You have half a mind to tell her that it does. You wonder if she wants to know about his interest, his quirks, or if she just wants to look at him. Instead, you look back at Hvitserk and raise your brows; if you’re going to have a feeling, it better be towards something you can handle.

“What?” You ask Hvitserk and he shakes his head. 

“Nothing, nothing,” He lies and you narrow your eyes.

“Hvitty?” You then ask. “Hvitserk,” You demand.

“Y/N, it’s nothing,” He then tells you and you can see he’s starting to dig the hole.

“You’ve been doing that for the last week,” You grumble.

“It’s just…” Hvitserk starts.

“Yeah, a slice of lime, please,” You hear Ivar say to the bar tender.

“On the rig check yesterday…” Hvitserk starts.

“Hey, brother,” Ivar snaps his fingers behind him, “No work talk. No firefighter stuff,” And Ivar turns back around.

“I’m trying to tell something to my partner,” Hvitserk says, placing a very careful emphasis on how he speaks. 

“Are you having a stroke?” Ivar tries.

The woman follows, two shots, two lime slices, and she hands Ivar’s respective parts to him. 

“No, I’m not,” Hvitserk snaps.

“Well, you’re about to,” Ivar says and he takes the lime slice—and much more quickly than you anticipate from his large hands—shoves the rind between your lips. Without a word to the other woman he tosses the shot back, his neck snapping backwards before his hands reach to your cheeks as he pulls you forward, sucking the lime from between your lips.

You feel your heart stop, your body moves with how Ivar dictates, and Hvitserk doesn’t miss the way you close your eyes, or the way both yours, and Ivar’s beings deflate. He tries so very hard to hide the smile that comes over his lips and he fails. But, he doesn’t quite care.

The moment you feel Ivar slowly pulls back, your eyes open quickly, widely as they watch his slowly open. 

“Oops,” He tries, “Must have mixed you two up…” He says so that only you can hear it, bastardly smirk on his lips. “Is she still there?” Ivar adds, louder.

“Nope,” Hvitserk states. “And for the record, Ivar, cardiac arrest is the correct medical term. That wouldn’t cause a stroke,”

“It wouldn’t?” Ivar tries, “Oh, I guess that’s why you majored in para-medicine and I majored in mathematics,”

You spit the lime out into your hand and hand it to Ivar, who only offers you a wink.

“Can’t be surprised by what you already know,” Hvitserk sings.

So tee-hee, bromance flirting silliness aside, I really lie how the brom-com basically shows that 'romantic' actions are easily 'platonic' entirely based on context.

Eliot says the woman Billy describes doesn't sound like the Sophie he knows. But how did S1 of the original show end? She conned the team and nearly destroyed them entirely by trying to have her cake and eat it too. And she did choose the team over running, but that person who let Arthur go to jail? That person was still something Sophie was growing away from at that point. Had been for some time, no doubt. But still...

YAY the guy who is Breanna's temporary coworker is continuing to puzzle out that he's working for a pyramid scheme company. He's adorable. I want him to live his dream as a musician.
