I've admired @partycoffin's work for years but I'm just now at the point where I felt I could do these designs justice. Julie's design in particular is just so adorable, and finally drawing her was such a delight! I hope you enjoy, neighbors 💙
Alright, the Pickerwheel (of Fortune) has decided: President Joyful it is!
First things first: What made me choose the fool for Julie? The Fool is someone who is daring and carefree, and (quite literally for Julie) joyfully and free-spirited walking into the world. And Julie is the most free-spirited, playful neighbor there is! Julie can also be seen as sometimes a bit reckless and risk-taking, which embodies the upside-down fool.
Also do you notice that she is standing on Howdy's Roof? Just as when she and Frank talked about one of her games where she got stuck there! The plants and the yellow ground she seems to be standing one are the same as on Howdy's Store :)
Again, my usual disclaimer: I am not experienced with the usage of tarot cards, so please don't expect me to know more than their basic meaning. Also, if you think that I should've chosen a different card for Julie, don't come at me, I just picked what I thought fit best!
Howdy's store has been the target of a recent theft, one that has resulted in the devastating loss of....one (1) apple ... 🍎
But tensions rise as the main suspect is none other than the neighborhood darling, Wally Darling!
Tune in to the trial of the century as all of your favorite neighbors try to find out why (and if ) Wally would commit such a heinous act...
...
Or aka, an obligatory courtroom episode, because who doesn't love a good old fashioned trial?
It's been rattling in my head for a while, so I drew a few (out of context) scenes to show what I mean, because what else am I supposed to do? Develop the entire story line? Edit out a draft so that it's cohesive? Write in-character dialogue? Ha!
Wally, do you have any patron favorites, or if you do not have a favorite than do you have a patron that you like to hang out with (not in romantic way)? If you have none it’s ok
