Totally get why fromsoft would use not grammatically accurate latin lyrics for their songs because. Meter Shenanigans. But also as someone who chews it. It kinda hurts
#WHAT THE FUCK DOES NOS DESTINATAE MATRIBUS#thecnically the translation should be 'us once destined to be mothers' but with the matribus its more#'us destined to the mothers'#actually tho the general grammar ignoring that is top notch#i especially love the fact that they used the mediopassive forms of some verbs to make it flow better#and the fact that they pronounce it with the proper classical pronunciation#<-scarred soul of a girl who got yelled at because she read CICERO OUT OF ALL AUTHORS using the actual classical pronunciation#and not the ecclesiastical one
