it's a very unique feeling when you realize that a person you follow online died. like. y'all don't know each other but they still impacted your life and now they haven't been online in 2 years after mentioning going to the hospital for a small issue in their last post. and no other activity on the single other social page they have that you know about. guess that small issue turned out to be a big issue. rest in peace friend stranger who presumably died before I even read your story. verrrrry different from reading a dead author's work because you go in with the assumption that they're alive and then get shocked and worried when they suddenly go MIA. and there's no way of being sure.
