Welcome to Lucifer’s S&S 4x07! 

This is an interesting episode as in this episode we have the first hint of Chloe being jealous of Lucifer and Eve’s relationship. Even more importantly in this episode, we get a title that gets us back to the first Arc of S3. In Chloe Does Lucifer we had a Lucifer who tried to prove he was still the same Devil he always was. 

The main problem with the above logic is that Lucifer changed his ways only to a certain extent as he fell in love and understood humanity and love better. 

Lucifer grew emotionally but at the same time, he didn’t become a different person. The Lucifer who loves to have a quiet night in was always there as 3x26 said there is always the potential waiting to be unlocked and applied into a person’s life.

What does that mean? It means that Devil Is As Devil Does. It means that what we do in life defines us not the titles we are given in life. 

If you remember in a previous post I mentioned that this season deals with the well-known phrase “What’s In A Name?”. Is Eve evil? Is a Priest good? Is a Neplelim a threat? Is an Angel always knowledgeable and good? 

Good is a relative term everything is so keep that in mind because Chloe in 4x07 seems to have finally realized that and she probably wants Lucifer back. Her partner, her Lucifer, her beau…

Let’s start with this episode though, shall we?

Starting with the case we get to one of L.A.’s landmarks. The North Broadway Bridge and previously known as the Buena Vista bridge has a lot to offer and is part of the promotional note the tax returns require from Lucifer… Regardless of the structure is magnificent in its own way in my opinion. 

With Ella at that location who seems to perhaps have a better relationship with Eve, a body was probably found and thus begins the new quest for the killer of this episode.

What we should note in the BTS is that Lucifer and Eve either arrive or leave the crime scene together. This is in a way a parallel to S3 but I still believe that Lucifer after the events of the previous episodes and if you think about it the case of 4x06 was dealing with captive and grounded women aka trafficking most likely so if we take that case and apply it to Eve’s case we perhaps will understand Eve’s motives. 

She wants Lucifer because Lucifer signifies Freedom as I have mentioned before and humans do love freedom… In any form.

The case, later on, gets us to Muscle Beach, a place well known for being an open gym for bodybuilders. famous ones from which several did take part in this episode. 

If you notice closely, all three characters have the same clothes on in that scene and you can also see the stand-ins take their place between the takes. 

At some point in that scene, Lucifer gets angry, I remind you that he has flares of anger and rage through S4 (see the photo in 4x06) which verifies the comment that Lucifer in S4 is like Mr Jekyll and Mr Hide. 

According to my belief, Lucifer in this season feels totally unbalanced because despite what had happened in S3 he still had Chloe now although he is physically close to her, Lucifer feels the impact of her distance. 

Moreover, we should not forget the one month gap which had if we assume it hat way, Lucifer and Chloe apart. An act and distance from Chloe’s part that Lucifer took as a betrayal after what she had told him in 3x23 and 3x24. 

Yet what happens has excited me is that when Lucifer almost assaults someone and eventually he backs off, we do not know if Chloe stopped him because in S3 she was not able to do so, Eve touches him while she talks to him in what it seems like a comforting and tender manner. 

If you see the GIF Chloe sees the interaction and sharply turns her head in a way that so far was used for Chloe showing her exasperation and annoyance. To that, I also add the events of 4x09 from Chloe’s part which we will, of course, analyze in the S&S of that episode. 

Either between the crime scene and Muscle Beach or after the second we have a lengthy visit at the precinct where all our leads except Linda, Amenadiel and Maze are there doing what they do best. Try to lower the crime in L.A. Kidding of course! 

We just do not know what they do there but it seems like Eve is reluctant to leave Lucifer’s side in this episode and that says a lot if we consider how close she is to him since 4x04. 

In addition, we have a BTS of Chloe at the interrogation room and if you see the two monitors, Chloe is sitting at the chair while the other monitor shows someone (Lucifer?) at the door of the room ready to leave. 

Chloe’s hunched appearance talks of a perhaps serious talk or dismissal by Lucifer, even more, likely though of something that has occurred and leaves at least one character, Chloe I presume, with some very constructive thoughts. 

A funny detail is that I accidentally added the crew’s birthday video again in 4x07… Please ignore that! On other news, we also have our favourite regular officer “J” with a vest… I wish I knew why…

What you can also see from the BTS is that we have Lucifer driving at night through an empty highway. 

I cannot say whether it is above the bridge and if Lucifer was a witness to the crime or if we have just a night shooting but one thing is for sure when night driving is involved in Lucifer, the character is going through a very difficult time so prepare for some angst there! I mean if Chloe had her own night driving an episode or so ago it’s only logical for Lucifer to follow… 

Why is that? Because a scene on location with a car and without lines is usually a way to elaborate visually on a character’s emotions. 

It is now time to start exploring the subplot of the episode! In this episode, Remiel and Amenadiel have a talk in at least two locations. 

The first is at a park where we can see Remiel in her full splendour at the same time around that episode we had some extras dressed in a similar manner. From that point and onwards there were some that mentioned the word “Angels”. Yes, I do presume that Remiel is not alone…

As you remember Remiel is a hunter, of what we can only speculate but I have already mentioned I believe she is of Nephelims. She has a healed scar on her right (photo left) cheek and as we know from the character’s description she idealized Amenadiel, while she is less fond of Lucifer. 

There is also a second scene where we see Amenadiel have some fight action at the abandoned Mall of Hawthorne. In that scene, there was also the stand-in of Lauren aka Chloe’s. 

I’m not sure whether Chloe will be at that scene but in this season I cannot rule out anything as the episodes progress. Also, this purplish light has me wondering as it is also used in 4x04 and in 4x10 but then again it might not mean something… Yet you never know..

A few paragraphs above I mentioned that Remiel has a healed scar on her right cheek, at the BTS, DB and Aimee were talking about a spoiler that the SFX make up department was doing on Amenadiel’s left cheek. 

There was no way on knowing what that meant but after some digging sure enough in that trailer we had Remiel’s actress and DB with a blackish cheek… a very well spread blackish cheek… Keep that in mind as it might have something to do with Lucifer’s hand in 4x09. 

The second part of the episode’s subplot concerns Maze and Linda. They had a scene together where we see Linda has toned down her makeup but her clothes seem to be appropriate either for LUX or for a session. Still, from the set behind them, they could also be at Linda’s house. 

Linda’s house around this time was identified by matching the interior Rachael had posted and the outside set we had the chance to see while 4x07 was being filmed. I remind you that Linda’s office is at Stage 11 and Linda’s house at Stage 16 next to the precinct and LUX. 

During filming that episode we also had Lesley-Ann posting a photo of Maze cradling a knife in Linda’s house while having the same hairdo as she did when the photo with Rachael was taken.  

What is also important to mention is that in an irrelevant BTS photo from the lot we could see that outside Stage 16, Stage 16 is the only one that has those supporters due to the way it was raised from the ground to become the tallest Stage in the world for many decades. 

So outside Stage 16, we could see next to the trailers two baby strollers. 

The stroller seems to be set for a young set of babies and their colours are pink and red. I have reasons to believe according to the dummy doll that was used for 4x10 that the baby is a girl and the presence of the strollers tells us that either someone went a bit overboard with shopping for the unborn baby or that as some fans very well noted, we have a set of twins playing the little Nephilim in 4x07. 

Finally, we had Lauren’s stand-in posting a photo from the Mausoleum which I’m not sure it’s part of this episode or just a photo that person decided to post a few weeks after wrapping the episode they shot there. If I follow my gut it’s probably the second scenario.

Lucifan 1

The season is reaching its final part. And the characters arcs probably too. It doesn't mean that everything goes plan and smooth. We know it from the previous seasons and if a night drive is involved dark moments are coming.  If it is real that the miracle story will be resumed and explained,  that really has me. Even though it seems an apparent end of Deckerstar.

Lucifer leaving Chloe behind is hard to believe, but no surprise if it happens. After having them so close to each other despite the events (we found too easy the way Chloe accepted Lucifer back after Candy or Lucifer so weak for the Marclo)  It is time to see them rebuild their relationship.

They have always speed bumps on their road and this time there are Kinley and Eve. I strongly hope Eve will step back in the end and a way out for her will be prepared. She for sure wants Lucifer back and will play hard for it.  Close to win in the end? For sure. It is like mom in s2. But we also know what happened in the end

Leaving our leads turmoil aside,  let me see I'm super excited for the little baby. For the chaos she will bring with herself but also for the great impact on many characters, Maze for sure.  love Maze and her storyline in s3 hurt me deeply. Having her a chance to regain her role of loyal demon is one of the points I hope the season will cover I have not to mention jealous Chloe.

The BTS was funny indeed and maybe part of Eve acts are. But as I have told earlier, Chloe being  jealous doesn't have me so much. A fighting badass Detective is what I want to see. But it is not the right time yet.

Last point: have Lucifer and Eve already slept together or will do soon? No idea, really.  But if it works for the show it's ok for me. When you have survived a certain sex scene in the proof cabinet, you will survive everything.

Here we are back to speculating what will happen in Lucifer. It seems like a dream huh? Okay so let’s begin!

If you had hoped that we would have a direct continuation from 3x24 you can start praying because the actors and the crew did not revisit the location. Now do not get disappointed! The finale took more days to wrap than the rest and that location was occupied for about 3 days in a row. It doesn’t mean that the production was prudent to shoot the immediate next scene but the fact that a) 3x24 took longer and b) that Joe Henderson wrote 3x24 and 4x01 might be a hint that we might get something following the 3x24 finally!

Moreover, Lesley-Ann revealed recently that the time gap between 3x24 and 4x01 was about ONE MONTH. That’s a spoiler that I owe to @knightvision1228.

Of course, if we go back to 3x12 we had an extended scene from 2x18 that gave us a peek of what happened after Lucifer was knocked out in a flashback so there is always that possibility...

Now as you know we are flying blind here so we can only assume on how the scenes will play out but we do know certain things about the case and of course about the progress of the episode due to the actor’s clothes. 

Tom Ellis at the crime scene appears to be wearing a black (or midnight blue) shirt with a grey suit set sans the vest. That tells us that we have what I call A wardrobe. Aimee at the same time wears her blue cat shirt while Lauren as a simple striped top with her usual jeans and black jacket.

The second part of the episode is happening with Ellis wearing a burgundy shirt and black pants while Aimee wears the engineers & jetpacks shirt along probably with the unicorn jacket. Finally, Lauren can be seen with again a simple pair of jeans and a white top. 

 Finally, we have Ellis wearing a white shirt at LUX which we have no idea if it is at the beginning or the ending of the episode but I do suppose it’s at the end because at the piano scene I speculate that on the bench we have Lucifer and Amenadiel. Amenadiel is now wearing casual clothes although we have seen the BTS video where he lands on Lucifer’s balcony wearing his robe (dress). 

Although we see both brothers on the piano it is expected to hear Ellis sing but I’m not sure we will also get to listen to Woodside... After all, the singing session was a solo one and not a duet which requires a different kind of room like the one They had for Tom and Skye for 3x17. Then again why give away all the good spoilers? What if Woodside sings as well but we never got to see the whole photo Ellis’ posted?

Just know what Aimee has said... The scene was captured in one take and one take alone... Which we do not know if that means that during Lucifer’s song we have Ella and some of the rest of the cast members there like Dan and of course Chloe... That is a surprise for 2019 most probably but do expect a very emotionally depressed and lost Chloe... Still Chloe appears in 4x01 to pretend to be okay while in 4x02 we realise that things have changed and not for the best between our leads. 

And what D.B was wearing the same day, 

But the fight is not between the two celestial brothers... It’s between Lucifer & Amenadiel (probably) versus... Lee! Yes, you see look at the clothes Jeremiah is wearing as Lee and that of his stuntman next to Ellis’ Lucifer stuntman! 

So... there are two possibilities here... Either Lee was fed up when he saw Lucifer at the precinct or Chloe’s apartment (Jeremiah is posing at Chloe’s apartment set!) and decides to take some revenge at the end of the episode or the piano scene happens at the beginning of the episode with Lucifer and Amenadiel reconnecting when a savage Lee attacks him at LUX which means that they end up at the precinct where he reconnects with Chloe... 

We cannot be sure... Who knows Lee might have something to do with the case as well but he is usually used as a comic relief than a plot-forwarding device. Is it perhaps his time to shine? He has been twice a witness of divinity what will happen the third time aside from his hard landing on expensive liquor? 

Finally, we have the c*ock pouch... We have no idea where that is used or if it is part of the 1st episode of S4... Many have speculated that it will be used for a sex scene and we have no idea if it will be but I would expect something edgier... 

Perhaps Amenadiel does interrupt another sex orgy of Lucifer’ s when he lands on his balcony but does not expect to see Lucifer and Chloe doing it aside if it is a dream or Lucifer gives in to Eve which is too early for that... Now also remember that Chloe most probably avoids Lucifer so Lucifer is dealing with the only way he knows. Sex. 

Knowing now that it takes them a month to perhaps meet again, Lucifer coping mechanism is back full force and that’s good as he has something to keep him in check although certenly not happy. 

My edgy idea though was Lucifer naked observing with self-loathing & a mournful expression the *Monster’s* crimson body... If you notice the bottle it has droplets inside and the setting is at nighttime which means that the brothers have a difficult if not emotional talk...

So far you have most of the needed information so let’s begin with the case of the episode... 

Obviously Bob the Beekeeper is found dead and for some reason, we have a Marshal on board for this... Sasha Roiz as Marchal Luke Reynolds does not have a definite role here but we can speculate that either has something to do with a) Marcus’ death, b) Bob the Beeker was in witness protection program and he was taken out of the way or perhaps he is after Lee... Nah... It’s probably the second. FYI you can see Bob on his undies behind Aimee’s Junky Umbrella pic and story... 

On another BTS Trivia ,the production apparently had an actual beekeeper around at the set which led to some freshly harvested honey for the production… 

This story also brings Chloe to a church... yes Chloe... As far as we know Tom might have had a scene there as well but in reality, all we know is that the crew first shot the scenes of Father Kinley during the day and at night Lauren German had some shots there as well... But during the day there was also a police car there according to a Reddit user and it looked like a production one, not a real one (I’ll not post their pic here sorry)

Now the Jesus on the cross is not part of the church’s outlet and it is perhaps why the production office had these outside of their office..

St Antony, Joseph, Jesus, Mary, St Francis (see the bird on his feet) and the last one is Apostle Peter (see the turned 'T' he holds? It’s a damaged cross. Peter refused to be crucified like Jesus on a cross because he thought he was unworthy to die in the same way as his teacher. 

The church has some beautiful Angels... On stain glass and under the podium. 

Now there is also one scene in a BTS video where we can see Tom Ellis behind the camera and at the monitor what I presume is Graham with his right hand raised. That shot was taken at night so I presume that Chloe and Lucifer were at some point together outside the church or at the priest’s presence and Lucifer might have been on some level recognised or known for what he was from Father Kinley. So the scenarios here are plenty...

Did Chloe went to a priest during her case and then the priest recognised Lucifer as the Devil? Did the priest confront our favourite devil without Chloe knowing and without Lucifer knowing that she had already met the priest? I mean that’s how it is usually done... A bit like with Amenadiel and Charlotte... 

And now Maze! Lesley Ann didn't have many days of shooting as far as we know but she does prepare for a fight in one of the following episodes. What we can say is that Maze was most probably at Chloe’s apartment. Whether she still lives there is unknown. Still with one month in between the events of S3 and S4 and perhaps a very angry Lucifer is probable that Maze just took off L.A. for that period of time in search for an old flame or simply trying to find some thrill and peace in bounty hunting. 

Now Maze must also mend her relationship with Trixie which I presume she is captured in the above monitor... At the moment Maze is a bit lost but at least she has Linda. Again we do not know much about what happens during her scenes but what if Lee indeed breaks in at Chloe’s apartment it’s Maze that catches him? A wilder speculation? What if Lee is one of Maze’s bounty? We shall see but the thing is that we do see Trixie at the precinct at some point!

Now due to her age Scarlett sometimes shoots two episodes together if she has to so her scenes and if she indeed has a scene with LesleyAnn must be speculated with some caution as we do not know exactly in which episode they will eventually land on...

Speaking of the precinct...

The first scene of S4 was shot there but it was a scene at the mid of the episode...

But also the one where Trixie is joining the cast as we know from Henderson’s post (the one where she reads Skyward).

What we little we know about that scene is that the first scene included only Lucifer, Chloe and Dan... I remind you that Dan is blaming Lucifer for Charlotte’s demise because he never informed them Marcus was the Sinnerman. 

Another random spoiler-speculation heavy observation is that at the makeup and hairstyle trailer there was a blond wig... I wonder who needed that wig...

And finally ow the case of the episode ends... We do know that we have the last scene of the active open case at a swimming pool 

Lucifer, the Marshal and Chloe were all at that location but we do not know if they shot two different scenes of the episode... What I do think though is that someone will fall into the pool. The pool was somewhat warm if we take Elli’s armpit stains (but it is also a Hellishly heated summer there). 

Lauren seems to wear the same clothes but later that night we also had an underwater cam crew... Meaning a crew that stayed out of the pool but knew how to shot the underwater scenes... So someone will fall into the water. My guess? Lucifer? That would wildly explain a naked scene later in that episode... We shall see. :) 

The last big spoiler of this episode as most already know is that a baby will join our little gang. The spoiler was released by TV Line without the production knowing about it and according to the BTS its parents are definitely Amenadiel and probably Linda (like 95%). 

And last but not least... Eve... Eve as far as we know will not appear in 4x01. None of the scenes or BTS indicates that she was there and I would expect her to pop out at some point but not just yet... 

So that’s it loves!

Here is everything we know so far about 4x01 blended along and with my cherry speculation... Now a piece of quick advice. A spoiler and speculation post cannot predict 100% an episode and certainly cannot substitute it!

Lucifan 1

Lucifer is back. And for what we can argue, it is just the beginning of a very rollercoaster season. All the main characters show up, probably trying or pretending to deal well with each other. But episode 1 title let us think quite the opposite.

Of course, the focus is on Chloe after the reveal, even though not just immediately after that.  Am I annoyed by the hiatus LesleyAnn has recently revealed? Not at all.

Lucifer is (or should be, at least) an unconventional show which takes its own pathway. Pretty sure we will know what happened,  but when and how depends on the showrunners.

We can speculate a lot on the episode content, keeping in mind that Chloe is to take a wrong decision for the right reason. And that opens the door to Father Kinley role. Curious to know the reason why they meet and if recognises Lucifer as the Devil
.

For sure,  a 10 episode season means no filler moments, so the core of the story is already introduced and developed.

For instance, Chloe and Lucifer are working together.  But Deckerstar is a different concept and I don't expect them quite soon. Again, does it plague me? No, as I love Deckerstar,  but the show has so much to tell and develop also for their future that I'm only happy we have other stories in place.

Dan, Linda and Maze are the ones I'm really waiting for. And I do.not have an idea what had been prepared for them. Hope Dan will not derail too much from his arch till now and that Maze will regain her role of a strong but loyal demon.

To conclude, there are a couple of "surprises" many are expecting.

Tom Ellis will sing for sure and this always adds value to the episode. The second is still about Ellis and a certain part of his body, teasing also by the photo he posted. Aimee Garcia joined a convention some weeks after s4 started and confirmed Lucifer's bum coming. 

Considering they were probably shooting episode 2/3  it is possible we have it immediately. I like Sanoiro's speculations on Lucifer's monster body. It will we another piece of the puzzle and not just a hot moment to cheer the audience up.

Lucifan 2

Episode one really is a quagmire for me.     The BTS has been quite careful as not to tip anything away Most just with the jubilation of being back and I feel we will be left with more questions at the end of the episode that we had at the first.  

At first glance, everything seems to be a return to the old status quo.  Which for the Devil might not be such a good thing    The writers have  assure us that they pick up right where  Season 3 left off but I sense that the aftermath of the reveal will be conveyed more to us in dialogue between the actors and not actual scenes which some viewers might find disappointing.     

Maybe  a session in Linda's office  Maybe Chloe at the precinct  asking vaguely guised spiritual questions to Ella   Lucifer though will clearly be drowning his sorrows at lux or parting in his penthouse, after all, that is what the Devil does and that is how he thinks Chloe will now see him.  

I'm more than delighted to see Lee again and my hope is that the opening scene is of him and Lucifer following suite of season 2 and 3 but seeing him with Lucifer’s and Amenadiel’s stunt double makes me think this isn't so. I can’t see the writers making a hardcore criminal of him, certainly not a murderer by any stretch I doubt if he has anything to do with the case but seeing him on set of Chloe’s apt is puzzling. 

The Marshall might be more part of an investigation regarding Pierce, surely they must have one but that really wouldn’t be his jurisdiction.  He could be after a wanted criminal that escaped prison and is still on the lamb which as far as we know Lee would still be an escaped felon.   

Whatever his reason, his mere presence will force both Chloe and Lucifer whilst tensions are high, to be on their best behavior that everything is okay.  It might also be another way for us to learn what happened those few days after the reveal through the course of their interaction with him.    Then we have that one camera single long shot sequence at Lux with a piano scene that Aimee also shared with us   that will confirm to us the real repercussions that the reveal truly has on everyone

Although I have asked,  there appears not to have been any  bts confirming it, but in an interview that Aimee did during this time period she casually made mention of a scene in the rain involving Lucifer screaming to the heavens.  If indeed that is the case it confirms my belief that Lucifer will blame no one but his father for all of this which is why I suspect Amenadiels return.   

Although, typically  bringing no direct message from his father he will seek to show Lucifer that it is he and he alone that is responsible for his actions  We will learn later how true that philosophy will become for Amenadiel  

Whether she seeks him out or through the case perhaps, but Chloe meets Father Kinley and the repercussions of this meeting will become momentous for her and Lucifer.    Her partner’s unwillingness to deal with what has happened head on in his typical Lucifer fashion will cause Chloe to perhaps look towards the Priest more that she would have otherwise.    She is dealing with not only almost marring Pierce, aka the sinnerman but also the death of Cain the world’s first murderer and on top of that, she has fallen deeply in love with the Devil.   

Oh and God is real after all. She will be questioning everything she has known including her judgement.  Perhaps Father Kinley sense something more about her a lost lamb he needs to return to the flock?  It is my hope that through Kinley we also get a nugget into a little more of Chloe’s story. Her encounter will Kinley I believe will inadvertently lead the Priest to discovers Lucifer’s true identity. Unknowingly but undoubtedly putting Lucifer in danger

Then we have that one camera single long shot sequence at Lux with a piano scene that Aimee also shared with us. I will confess when I watched her instant stories regarding it I suffered a bit of vertigo.    My hope is that it would be the opening sequence, with everyone back at Lux after Pierce’s death but it doesn’t seem to likely if that is truly Amenadiel with him at the piano.  Beginning or end it will be beautiful to watch and that will confirm to us the real repercussions that the reveal has on everyone and there is no going back.

PART B - Articles & Interviews with Spoilers and Other Info

This post will present in a very simple manner all the spoilers that we have so far for Season 4 and it might also be extended slowly as new articles are published. This post contains mostly spoilers, not speculations as they have been delivered from Ildy and Joe since the Season 3 Finale. 

How many episodes will S4 have?

10 episodes which are in reality the first arc of the intended Season 4 the Writers had planned for FOX. (x)

Netflix will encompass what was to be the first half of the original Season 4 arc. “We were going to have two parts to it anyway, so we’ll just tell a really strong, gnarly first part,” Modrovich enthuses. Doing so, says Henderson, “lets us concentrate the story and focus it, and that’s what’s really exciting about this. We have a really strong first half that is now going to make for an amazing story.” (x)

When will the real spoilers and BTS start?

Early as the Writers’ Room will be back on business on June 25th. (Twitter)

The BTS will start with the filming meaning in August. (x)

What will happen with 3x25 and 3x26?

They might fit 3x25 in the S4 as a bonus episode but it’s not part of the 10-episode deal. (x)

Lucifer Season 4 runtime per episode on Netflix

The producers want to keep it at 43 minutes with the possibility to extend episodes when they do not want to cut a scene but it will have to be discussed with Netflix yet as they do not know if the 43 min will be kept or extended. (x)

Lucifer in Season 4: 

That’s a big thing we wanted to unravel in Season 4 — why did my Devil face come back in that moment? is it because I killed a man? Is it because I liked it? (x)

Joe Henderson was not forthcoming about what would happen to Lucifer, except we can all assume that he will be working on his relationship with Chloe.  (x)

Chloe in Season 4:

There’s a reason we ended on a wide shot of Lucifer and Chloe standing opposite each other. There’s no going back. We wanted to back ourselves into this corner, so there was no way we couldn’t stick with what we did. This is the end of an act, and the beginning of the next one is Chloe knowing the truth and having to deal with both the fact that her partner was actually the Devil, but also the man she has grown to love. That’s what we wanted to explore in Season 4. (x)

In season 4, Henderson explained that Chloe now must face the truth that her roommate is a demon and that Morningstar really is the devil. She has a sense of responsibility as a mother. Can she really have a demon living with her little girl? What does she think of him now? (x)

So that was the big thrust of season 4 – exploring Chloe dealing with those ramifications, and how it affected her relationship with Lucifer. Both professionally and personally. Can you work with the Devil? Can you LOVE the devil?  (x)

Dan in Season 4: 

Dan blames Lucifer because Charlotte Richards is dead. That animosity could certainly affect the Lux owner”s life.  (x)

As for LAPD detective Dan, actor Kevin Alejandro told Digital Spy before the show was renewed that in season four his character is "really going to be wrestling with his demons. Because, of course, he'll have a ton of anger in the wake of Charlotte's death. He'll find himself wondering if he's just been playing 'the good cop' and that maybe Pierce was right about him all along when he said, 'You're the corrupt cop'. Dan would have blamed Lucifer for Charlotte's death so the antagonism between them would have been heightened. Like I said, a whole new world…" he explained.(x)

Ella in Season 4: 

He (Joe) did indicate that Ella is going to continue questioning her religious beliefs.  (x)

The rest of the characters in S4:

He (Joe) did not answer anything about Maze, Amenadiel nor Dr Linda.  (x)

When Henderson spoke to Word Bubble in early May, this was just days after the Fox cancellation. As this was a time that he was clearly unsure whether the show would continue, his vision for the characters could now dramatically change based on these factors.  (x)

The new guest of Season 4: 

And we also had an exciting character from Lucifer’s past who was going to come in and mix everything up. A very personal, intimate figure who we won’t reveal the identity of yet… until we find out if we get the chance to tell the tale on a new network. (x)

What happens beyond Season 4?  

Joe had told podcast host John Siuntres that he had hoped for six seasons with Chloe not knowing for three seasons, and then Chloe knowing the final three seasons. He figured that the final episode of season 3 was the halfway point of the story he wanted to tell.  (x)

Are there going to be any new characters or a new villain?

Season 4 premiere on Netflix will introduce a priest who is fervently working a conspiracy theory about Lucifer Morningstar’s true identity AND his truly evil agenda.

Interview with Aimee and Lauren: Transcript

In this week’s special episode we’re joined by special guest Aimee Garcia who plays fan favourite Ella Lopez in the TV show Lucifer. Aimee has also starred in shows such as Dexter, Trauma, Rush Hour as well as the film Robocop.

Aimee gives us a little tease about the direction of the show now that it’s been saved by Netflix, as well as talking about the phenomenal response to the #SaveLucifer fan campaign.

Talking about the campaign 5:

They were talking with Tom about it yesterday and Aimee talks about what she has experienced from conventions, letters and fans on a global level.

“We were completely shocked and completely surprised and once we thought the passion from all over the world we all went to the frontlines and we were like “Oh my God we do have an audience, we just do not have an audience that watches it Monday night at eight we have an audience that binges it, that watches it a week later or on their own time which is the future tv but when that happened, I mean 100% the reason we’re picked up was because of the fans”

Talking about Eve and Graham (the second one in a more concealed way)

“My character is a woman of faith and for 3 years her faith has been very unwavering and it will start to unravel I think, her relationship with God will be getting a bit rocky because Charlotte was taken away, and so many bad things have happened in their inner circle that she- her faith is a little rocky.”

Aimee believes that S4 will explore how the Devil will help Ella as her faith becomes a little shaky and then Chloe… The whole season will deal with the aftermath of the reveal and what that does to their dynamic.

Every episode will count and there will be no episode that will not move the episode forward!(Sanoiro: THANK DAD!)

And every character will have their world shaken upside down (Basically the centre theme of S4). And every actor is reading their script and say “I didn’t see that one coming” and it’s so fun and juicy and heartbreaking because of change even if it’s growth it is also painful cause the definition of change is that you leave something behind even if it is a bad thing.

Ella and her faith, Chloe and the truth, Lucifer who am I? and Amenadiel has his wings back what does that mean? Linda and Maze their friendship goes in a totally different direction (Sanoiro: Am I the only one who slightly hopes for a F/F relationship there?), Everyone will be spinning in the rabbit hole and it will be so fun to watch!

Aimee talks about how her real life as a bachelor is correlated with her character and says she asks the writer to stop making fun of her :) :D

18:26 - Talking about Tom and the English slang. Lauren and Pepper (Lauren carries treats for her dog and calls the package funny pack which has Tom and Aimee trying to tell her that it means something entirely different and she is like please stop! And of course, they keep going).

Talking about Lauren and her pranks (the famous camel toe undergarment). Lauren pranking Kevin through Aimee and she is really bad at lying so the whole prank falls apart.

Peper little story with a vest which Tom suggested. They are getting Pepper a K9 LA police dog vest… Tom adores the dog.

Ildy and Joe are setting the rhythm behind the cameras and Tom & Lauren in front of them.

Talking about how Tom is usually working until 4:30 AM on a Saturdays morning. And everyone is tired but you have Tom at take 10 in the rain working without complaining. (Aimee sees Tom as the captain/leader of the team which makes her want to work harder) Also when there is a victim and they are in the sun, Tom will always try to shade the actor with his heigh, offer them an umbrella between takes and ask them if they need something.

Favourite episode so far 3x25 (& 3x06) :) as it solidified the brother and sister relationship of Ella and Lucifer also Aimee says how Ella is funny how unaffected she is on Lucifer’s charms and she tries to get Chloe and Lucifer together.

Talking about Ella and how Tom is a musicals nerd while a musical episode would be Lauren’s nightmare. Also, Lauren has the best voice out of everyone else.

BTS trivia from 3x06 and how tired & dazed they were which proved to be a very good bonding experience between Aimee and Tom. :D

WB is trying to see if they can make it to a Brazil Comic Con and she talks about Brighton LUX.
