Canadian Criminal Law

If any law is related to crime, that law is called Criminal Law. The legislative law of every country is made so that the environment of the country can be healthy, normal and habitable. Criminal law plays a major role in the country.

Likes others, Canada has criminal laws of its own, and combining all the rules are called the Canadian criminallaw.Canadian criminal laws are including with criminal code and source of federal.

There are many laws against different offenses. Let us talk about the significantcrimes with their penalty.

Murder:

There are different types of murder cases in Canada. Some of the murder degrees are as follows

Typically, if a homicide occurs in the course of a planned or sexual assault or robbery, such murder is called a First Degree murder. In that case, Canadian criminal laws serve three categories  of punishment

·         If anyone more than or equal to 18 years, then Canadian criminal law probably gives him/her 25 years prison.

·         If anyone is 16 or 17 years, the penalty will be reduced to 10 years.

·         And if the offender is 14-15 years age, the punishment should be reduced to five to seven years.

Cybercrime:

Cybercrime is a computer-based crime linked to a computer network to harm a person or organization.Computer has essentialto preserve information on any institution.

Cybercrime can be so damaging to the victims that the organization can disappear.  So Canadian criminal laws areprudent to protect data of a country or any other institution.

Penalty against Cybercrime:

·         For individual person, the penalty rate is probably C$1 million

·         For an organization, the penalty rate is probably C$10  million

Sexual assault:

If a man commits sexual assault to a girl or a woman, he will be punished according to his category.  For example,

·         If anyone ends up with a weapon or something, he is sentenced to 14 years in prison.

·         On the other hand, if anyone commits sexual assault and also deserves punishment but the victim is not as serious condition; in that case, Canadian law will give at least six months in jail.

Kidnapping:

·         If a person is detained for demanding ransom against his will, then it is called kidnapping.It's a dangerous crime.

·         Canadian minimum 4,5 or 7 years in prison in prison for kidnapping or a maximum life in prison.

Theft:

If anything is stolen or taken away in the absence of a person, then it is stolen. If a person steals, he is punished by his actions. If he steals something or a large amount of Amount, then he will be punished or fined or made known according to him.

In Canadian law, theft may be divided into two categories.

·         If any thief stole more than $ 5000,then Canadian lawmaygive 10years jail or large amount of penalty.

·         Less than $ 5000,it will be reduced at 6month jail.
