Fu Xuan also has that master/apprentice thing going on for what she's telling. The concept is also closely at the core of why she wants the position of general so passionately
#Her reasons greatly pleased me#It's also interesting Jing Yuan as a character following the Erudition path as the previous general#Fu Xuan follows the path of preservation ingame but she states here she received the blessing of the Wisdomwalker#Which brings back Jing Yuan's line about how Fu Xuan's erudition would shame his attempts at poetry#I already found that pretty interesting and even saved the line considering what their assigned roles are in the game#and how nonetheless they are closely linked to the Reignbow Arbiter and the Wisdomwalker#but now I find it even more interesting#Especially considering Fu Xuan's reasons to get the positon of general and how to defy destiny#could indeed be read under the light of Preservation rather than Erudition or warfare#I find all this very intriguing#It also draws yet again a close parallel between Fu Xuan and Kafka that is very nice I think#Even more so perhaps considering the iterations of Kafka and Blade‚ the Trailblazer and Dan Heng‚ Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan#The link between them. And the conceptual symmetries. Those who defy destiny‚ those who defy death‚ those who defy Aeons#That kind of concept#Fu Xuan#I talk too much
