Villanova vs. Georgetown odds: Advanced computer model locks in strong picks
Villanova can secure the No. 2 seed in the Big East Tournament — and may lock up a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament — with a win against Georgetown in the teams’ regular-season finale Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. Villanova is a 19-point home favorite.
Before choosing either side of that big number, you need to read what the SportsLine Projection Model is computing.
Last season, the model was an impressive 755-636-20 on A-rated picks, returning $6,529 to any $100 player who followed it. With the NCAA Tournament just around the corner, the model is heating up, nailing six straight picks heading into the final regular-season weekend for most conferences.
Now, it’s simulated Saturday’s rivalry game 10,000 times, breaking down every conceivable matchup and trend for Georgetown-Villanova and locked in a pick against the spread that hits well over 50 percent of the time.
We can tell you the computer is projecting four players to score in double-figures for the Wildcats, led by Jalen Brunson (16.4 points across the simulations). But will Nova score enough to blow past the Hoyas by 20-plus points?
The model knows Villanova has just four losses all year (26-4), but three of them have come in the last month. In fact, the Wildcats are just 4-3 over their last seven. However, Brunson and Co. had the Hoyas’ number in their one meeting Jan. 17, jumping out to a 22-point halftime lead en route to an 88-56 blowout that would have easily covered Saturday’s spread.
Georgetown (15-13) has lost three straight following two wins, but they have two juniors who can light up the hoop in Jessie Goven (17.1 ppg), who’s scored 20-plus in the Hoyas’ last two games, and Marcus Derrickson (15.7), who went off for 27 in a win over Butler on Feb. 13. The Hoyas are an amazing 8-1 against the spread on the road.
So which side of Georgetown-Villanova do you need to be all over? Visit SportsLine now to see the strong point-spread pick that hits well over 50 percent of the time, all from the model that powered the three largest fantasy sits and has absolutely crushed college basketball.

Florida State vs. Clemson odds: Picks from Vegas legend on 29-18 college basketball run
Clemson has a lot to play for in Wednesday’s nationally televised showdown with Florida State, tipping off at 9 p.m. ET. The Tigers are favored by 3.5 points, down one from the opening line. The over-under has stayed at 145.5.
Clemson is playing for a coveted double-bye in the ACC Tournament. It’s also gunning for a program-record 11th conference win, but FSU knocked off the Tigers just two weeks ago.
Before picking either side for this rematch, you need to see what Kenny White has to say. The legendary Vegas oddsmaker-turned-SportsLine expert went 51-33 on college basketball picks last season, returning $1,463 to $100 players, and he’s crushing it again this season.
White comes into Wednesday’s game on a strong 29-18 run overall. Now, he has examined every matchup, every player and every trend for Florida State-Clemson and locked in a confident pick against the spread that he’s sharing only over at SportsLine.
He knows Clemson (21-7, 10-6) is tied for fourth in the ACC with two games left in the regular season. Wins Wednesday and in Saturday’s finale at Syracuse would secure a tourney double-bye.
But FSU has beaten Clemson four straight meetings, including an 81-79 nailbiter in Tallahassee on Valentine’s Day.
That loss was the start of a three-game skid for the Tigers that ended Saturday in a 75-67 win over Georgia Tech. The Seminoles (19-9, 8-8), meanwhile, are coming off a 92-72 defeat at NC State in which they shot 0 for 15 on threes.
The Noles were favored by 3.5 points when they beat the Tigers at home two weeks ago. This time, Clemson is favored by the same margin.
White believes the spread is way, way off. He’s sharing why this is, and his strong point-spread pick, only at SportsLine.
So which side of FSU-Clemson do you need to be all over? Visit SportsLine now to see the strong point-spread pick for Florida State-Clemson and see why the spread is way off, all from the Vegas legend absolutely crushing college basketball.

2018 MLB win totals, predictions: Proven computer model says Mets will disappoint baseball
As MLB teams gear up for Opening Day, baseball bettors are zeroing in on regular-season win totals. The win totals, available at multiple sportsbooks, range from the lofty — 96.5 for last year’s World Series participants, the Astros and Dodgers — to the pathetic 64.5 assigned to the lowly Marlins.
Before you bet over or under on any team, you have to see what SportsLine’s advanced computer model is picking. This model simulated the entire season 10,000 times and found five MLB teams whose Vegas win totals are way off.
This same model just crushed the NFL and college basketball.
It would have won at least 95 percent of CBS Sports’ straight-up NFL office pool leagues the past two years and returned a whopping $6,529 profit to $100 bettors who played its top-rated college hoops picks last season.
We can tell you the model loves the under on the New York Mets’ total of 81, projecting them for 76.8 wins. This is a team that lost 92 games last year. Even though they added Jason Vargas, the starting pitching likely will break down once again.
The model also generated huge disparities on four other teams, including the Dodgers. After winning an MLB-best 104 games and falling just shy of a World Series title, can L.A. grind out at least 97 wins this year?
The Dodgers seem poised to do so. Their lineup features six position players 27 or younger. And it’s hard to find a roster weakness.
But they also compete in what should be MLB’s toughest division. The Giants landed Evan Longoria and Andrew McCutchen, while the D-Backs, Rockies and Padres were very aggressive this offseason.
The model knows how big of an impact those moves will make.
So which teams should you bet over and which should you go under on? Visit SportsLine now to get the five best season win total bets, plus see every team’s projected wins, all from an advanced computer model that keeps crushing its picks!

Alabama vs. Missouri odds: College basketball picks from model on 37-16 run
College hoops fans get a Wednesday night treat when the Missouri Tigers travel to face the Alabama Crimson Tide in a 9 p.m. ET tip at Coleman Coliseum. Alabama is favored by 5.5 points, up half-a-point from the open.
The Over-Under, or total number Vegas thinks will be scored, is 137, down half-a-point from the open.
In this huge SEC basketball showdown that features two teams looking for a conference victory, you need to see what SportsLine’s Projection Model has to say.
This model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, completely crushed its top-rated college basketball picks last season, returning a profit of almost $6,600 on $100 bets for anybody who followed them.
That wasn’t a fluke, either. The model entered this week on a scorching 37-16 run on its top-rated picks — a cash rate of 70 percent. Anybody who has been following those picks is way, way up.
Now it has simulated Missouri vs. Alabama 10,000 times and came up with some surprising results.
We can tell you that the model thinks the total is spot on, saying the Under hits in 51 percent of simulations. The model has an even stronger pick against the spread, saying you can back one side well over 50 percent of the time. You can only see that over at SportsLine.
The model has taken into account Alabama’s strong recent performances. The Crimson Tide have won five of their last six games, including an impressive home victory over 12th-ranked Oklahoma on Saturday.
Alabama star guard Collin Sexton is rounding back into form after missing a couple of games earlier this month. Sexton, who is averaging 18.5 points, had a solid performance on both ends of the floor against Oklahoma’s Trae Young.
But just because Alabama’s offense is starting to hit its stride doesn’t mean the Tide can cover as 5.5-point favorites.
Alabama is just 2-6 against the spread in its last eight games against Missouri.
Will Alabama protect home court with a huge win and cover or will Missouri keep it competitive or possibly even pull off the big upset? The SportsLine Projection Model’s picks are in.
So what side of Missouri-Alabama do you need to be all over? Visit SportsLine now to see the strong point-spread pick for Missouri-Alabama, all from the model that has absolutely crushed college hoops, and find out.
