Are you telling me I watched two hours of Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy waiting for "one hell of a return" only to be left with nothing? We were only reunited with a character from 4 seasons ago.. Like what? I feel quite baited thank you very much... It was not worth the hype. 😳

Just watched Sing 2 via early release and here are my first reactions to it. Tread lightly, there are spoilers afoot!

Well, Choices I got into because of the game, obviously. Teen Wolf was because of @riseandshinelittleblossom and her Dylan O'brien as Maxwell. 🤤

2.) What's something you're passionate about outside of the fandom?

Ohhh boy...lots of stuff. Peoples rights, treating people with respect, being a decent human being...just to put some broad terms out there.

Uhm, either empathy or sense of humor!

IZZY

Her face was a carefully constructed mask, holding back the flood of emotions she felt. Embarrassment was pretty high on the list, followed by anger, and Izzy had never been so glad to have a solo mission. Her cover had been spectacularly blown, and she had no idea how it had happened. Protocol instructed her to quickly and safely extract herself from the situation and later be debriefed, but word would get out. Even if the other agents weren’t aware of the exact details, they’d find out Izzy had flubbed a mission. Her dad would find out she flubbed a mission.

“My name’s Kira,” Izzy sighed, hiding her ruffled confidence. Colt’s eyes bore into her own, taunting her. A chill ran down her spine, and Izzy was appalled when she flushed at his intense gaze. She couldn’t break, not when more was on the line then her bruised pride. “If that’s what you want me to call you, fine. Anything for a CAE-I agent. Or...is it junior agent?” Izzy felt the hairline crack in her mask and froze. How did he know? How could he possibly know? She stalked up to him, snatching the helmet from his hands and jutting her chin at the small space behind him. Sometimes an agent had to think outside the box. “Scoot up, I could eat.” Somehow, Izzy knew this was no longer a food outing if it even was, to begin with. She had to trust herself to figure out a plan of attack sooner rather than later, and that began with taking back control of the situation.

“Don’t worry, I’m sure you could take me out, but don’t think I wouldn’t go down without a fight,” Colt made room for Izzy on his bike, and she sat down behind him, tentatively wrapping her arms around his torso. She felt him flex beneath her touch, and Izzy was happy her curly hair hid her face. Logan looked them both over with a look Izzy couldn’t discern, and at that moment she realized he’d been on the whole thing too. Before Izzy could change her mind and demand to get off, Colt revved his bike and Izzy scrambled to get a better hold of Colt before she was thrown off. She felt his laugh rather than heard it, and in retaliation, she squeezed hard enough to leave a bruise. If he felt it, Izzy couldn’t tell, and it infuriated her more.

COLT

He had to give it to her. She was either really stupid or stupidly brilliant to agree to accompany him. She was also stupidly pretty, a conclusion that came way too easily to Colt. She had the kind of eyes a guy could get lost in. With a shudder, Colt recalled how that was exactly how he’d come about. Her arms wrapped tightly around him didn’t help taper down these intense feelings. Colt rode on, aware of Izzy’s even breathing against his back. He actually had been hungry, but it looked like any kind of food would have to wait.

“I guess you’re not gonna tell me how you knew?” Izzy asked, breaking the silence, and Colt turned his head back slightly to be heard above the wind. “I’ll tell you whatever you wanna know, Izz. I’m not the one sworn to secrecy.” She stiffened, and when she didn’t speak again, Colt continued. “But first, I have some questions of my own.”

Colt continued on, rolling to a stop at the top of a cliff. It was quiet save for the Pacific, rolling waves beneath them. Izzy loosened her hold on him before pulling off the helmet and getting off the bike. Izzy glanced down at the water, eyes calculating. Was she planning to jump if things went south? Colt had jumped once when it was just him and his father, and at least he was well aware of how far down the agent would plummet. He shook his head, annoyed. If she did that, he’d have no choice but to go after her; this wasn’t a social call. Colt came up beside her, but before he could speak, Izzy turned and reached for his neck. He felt the sharp pinprick of a needle going into his skin before he could pull back, slapping her hand away. He rubbed at the raised bump left behind on his skin.

“Shit!” Colt felt his tongue grow heavy, his eyelids droop, and fatigue set into his bones. He couldn’t stop his body from slumping over and felt hands cushion his descent to the ground. He felt light like he could float away at any moment. “That’s it, nice and easy,” Izzy spoke softly, looming over him, her hair framed her face. The slow setting sun created a halo effect above her head, but this was the work of the devil. “Not bad,” Colt slurred the words. He reached up to touch her face, but Izzy swatted his hand away. “Shit, I see why Logan was making puppy eyes at you,” Colt laughed, and he watched Izzy still, before shaking off his comment, “Don’t worry, the effects will wear off in a half hour.” Colt tried to smirk, but even that took much effort.

“Here’s what’s gonna happen, Hot Shot,” Izzy glared, kneeling beside him. She dug in his pockets, pulling out his wallet, keys, and a dead cell phone. “You’re gonna tell me who’s the Brotherhood contact, or I can just leave you here and take the bike.” His bike? “No offense, but your cute face isn’t going anywhere with my bike,” Colt spoke, his thoughts flowing directly from his mind to his lips. Whatever she’d injected into him made it hard to filter his words. “It’s just a hunch, but something... tells me we’re... fighting the same enemy...” Colt continued. “Oh? How do you figure that?” Izzy growled. Her scent, was that vanilla? It was too soft for the hardened agent she pretended to be. Colt laughed again, poking a finger in Izzy’s cheek. She angrily swatted it away again. “Your file says you’re after the Mercy Park Crew...yet you’re questioning me about the Brotherhood.” Colt tried to focus his eyes on her face. The world was spinning and the beginnings of a headache formed. “Yeah, about that. How did you get access to my file? That information is classified. Highly classified.”

Colt pressed a hand to his forehead and groaned.

“What the hell did you stick me with?”

“How. Did you. Access. My file?” Izzy repeated, and Colt moved his hand to glare at her this time. The warm and fuzzy feelings gave way to a painful throb throughout his entire body. “My pop’s an active field agent. And… the CAE-I system isn’t hard to hack into.” He could see the fear flash in and out of her eyes before she launched into another question.

“Why send your friend after me?”

“...We had to lead you to me somehow. Figured your mother or her partner might have crossed paths with my Pops.” When Izzy said nothing, another line of thought floated past Colt and it floated to the forefront of his mind. “Either you’re just as clueless as I am, sniffing around for a trail gone cold five years ago,” Colt glared, his anger igniting. “Or, you’re in the Brotherhood trying to suss out what I know.”

IZZY

Izzy’s brain locked on the number. Five years ago. She recognized that fire in Colt’s eyes and worried if she should have given Colt a larger dose of the truth serum. It didn’t make people truthful per se, but it lowered their inhibitions, therefore, making it harder to lie or hold back information. The haze was clearing from Colt’s eyes, and in that fire, she recognized the flame that burned brightly for a loved one lost.

The one that ignited in Izzy’s heart in the dead of night when she called out for a mother who hadn’t returned to her thirteen-year-old. “Or…” Izzy began, “maybe it’s neither.” Maybe they were on the same side after all. Her voice wavered but was urgent just the same. “Who did you lose? You’ve read my file.” Colt shook his head with amusement that didn’t quite meet his eyes, then groaned, eyes tightly shut at the wave of pain that hit him. She almost felt bad. Almost. There was a lone eyelash on his olive cheek, and she squeezed her fingers to keep them from reaching out. “Lost things can be found, Izz. You just have to know where to look.” Izzy narrowed her eyes at him. “Are you saying she could still be alive? There were bullet wounds. And blood. And her identified body. She’s gone and--” Izzy swallowed back the emotion in her throat before she spoke again. “And the Brotherhood’s still here.” Colt’s eyes were still shut when he spoke.

“My parents may not have stayed active agents like yours, but we both know better than to trust anyone.”

“Who said I trusted you?”

“Good girl.”

Izzy recalled the way Nori had looked at her in the shop. “And what do you mean ‘active agents’ Your parents are CAE-I operatives?” That would explain where his advantage came from, but not why she hadn’t seen him around. Colt ignored the question, still turned away from Izzy. “Five years ago, my pops went to Miami on a mission and never returned. Haven’t heard from him since.”
