Her pieces have been shown nationally and internationally and are included in a number of museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) in New York.
She is regarded as an important role model for other artists and craftspeople.

Though she recovered, she was left with lifelong heart and lung complications along with physical disabilities. Knowing that she would inevitably die young, Millicent Rogers became a socialite w an insatiable lust for life... still credited today as an influence on major fashion designers.
Later in life, she became an activist for Native American civil rights.
After being jilted by Clark Gable, she spent the final five years of her life—1948-53—in Taos, where she discovered spirituality
