I've been debating starting up this blog for some time, but it's something that I think could be a really fun journey.
Been running dark heresy games since 08. Rogue Trader, Only War, all of them. Just got my copies of Imperium Maledictum and am hoping to run that system soon. Through running the countless one shots and many long campaigns, I've met some incredible people and lifelong friends. I'm hoping that tumblr can only add to that experience. I'm new on this platform, so please bear with me as I learn. I'm excited to share, provoke inspiration, and shitpost with you all!

Act 1, Part 3 - Underground Temple, Underground Monk
Sometimes, in video games and other narratives, they provide you with a character who is the epitome of the softboy with the edge of steel. Someone who cares about family, about community, about doing what's right even though that often means doing what's hard. Someone who likes to ease tension with a joke and follows it up with a casual mention of something so viscerally tragic that it causes your brain to skip a gear while you process all the shit this kind man has gone through.
Your Alistairs, for example. Your Carrot Ironfounderssons, your Peter Parkers and Kaidan Alenkos. You treasure these characters when you find them, you respect their pain and their carefully protected hope for the future.
And sometimes tumblr makes you send them away because they voted for the monster girl.

I mean, while I had figured Wenduag would win out on tumblr, the "god forbid monster women do anything" website, I had at least thought Lann would be trailing by a lot less, since he would be the classic tumblr sexyman.
Then I remembered that while Wrath of the Righteous does in fact have a tumblr sexyman, it is not Lann. But we'll get to him later.
Our travels through the caves beneath Kenabres have brought us to a section of collapsed building that, strangely, did not appear to have fallen down from up above. Instead we find ourselves inside what appears to be a ruined temple, fallen into disrepair. There are piles of rubble everywhere, but they don't seem to have been caused by the attack. No, this appears to be something much older.
We are also not alone.

This is Lann and Wenduag, and as it turns out, they live down here:
🕷: "We are the underground crusaders, the children of the crusade's finest." 🦎: "Sadly, 'underground crusaders' is a bit of a mouthful, so people usually just call us 'mongrels'." 🕷: "You just love repeating that, don't you, Lann? 'Mongrels' - that's what the uplanders call us. But we call ourselves 'neathers'."
(Pronunciation note: neathers as in beneath)
As they tell it, some of the first Mendevian crusaders were corrupted by the presence of so much demonic energy that they started to mutate. Their descendants continued to live underground, always remembering the glory of their ancestors and their battles against the demons pouring out of the Worldwound, but they stayed underground, away from the rest of the world topside.

Of course, things aren't always as simple as all that. Seelah points out that Kenabres thinks of them as monsters who come out at night and eat children. Or at least that's what people say - Seelah thought they were just made up. Kind of puts a damper on the whole "they will welcome us with open arms" theory, but what're you gonna do?
As far as what they're doing here?
🦎: "This is the hall where we remember the glory of our forebears. Sorry about the mess - it doesn't usually look like this, trust me. Sometimes we even wipe the dust off the exhibits." 🕷: "This is where the relics of the first crusaders are displayed. Our lives are short, our glories are quickly forgotten... but this place helps us to remember that we are just as worthy as anyone else, and that our lives are not lived in vain."
About seventy years ago (or fifty thousand gongs in neather time) the tribe found the remains of an angel in the temple, surrounded by his fallen compatriots. They buried them with as much dignity as they could, but the angel's flaming sword could not be removed from the rock it was embedded in - it burned anyone who tried. So the angel and the sword were both buried in rubble, as they did the best they could.
Lann, of course, wants to find the sword. Apparently some kids got up into one of the ruins that are connected to the surface, the Shield Maze - named such because it shields the neathers from taking rash actions. The Maze is said to be the signal to rise to the surface and join the crusade - if the walls fall, that means it's time to leave the underground. Wenduag says she's the only one who's ever navigated through it, but some kids decided it was their chance to make a break for it.

Lann accuses Wenduag of putting the idea in their heads, since she's been mapping the route and clearing it of danger. Wenduag deflects this, as she says she's always told them to wait until she was finished.
We offer to help, although Wenduag sees it as merely a means for us to make it back to the surface. Which, she's not wrong - it's the best lead we have, but if we can help them rescue their lost youth in the process, that's also worth it.

It's not just a flaming sword. It's a sword made of flames. Hilt and all. Which, honestly, you gotta love a sword made of pure fire. I don't really blame Lann for this - if I went back to my family and said "hey we need to break our policy of not going into the creepy labyrinth" and I said it while holding a sword made of flames then I'd fully expect to get my way, too.
Of course, the sword itself seems to have its own opinions, and we move into the first of what the previous game, Kingmaker, referred to as "book choices".

These sequences in Kingmaker were narrated by Linzi, who is telling us the story of the game we are playing - a narrative device that allows for some fantastic rapid-fire decision-making and cinematic sequences that are told best in narration and brief illustration. Here, the narrative structure seems to be a journal, though as it refers to me in the third person, I doubt it's my journal. We may or may not find out the story behind this narrative device later - while it would be neat for this to be similarly diegetic, I haven't actually played far enough to find out the answer to this.
The journal sequence continues with the vision - I passed the Will save - and I watch as Deskari (or at least a smaller version of him) moves to finish the angel off, taunting it the entire way. As the vision ends, I am given another opportunity to shape Lariel's response, who claims that another will take up the flaming sword and use it to either punish the wicked or protect the innocent.
The weird demonic wound in my chest, which opened at the start of the vision, heals over once more, leaving me with the sword in my hand. I raise it aloft, and my RGB keyboard and mouse flash in response - a neat interaction. And with that, the sword disappears again, with the note that all I have to do is summon it.
My comrades are astonished at the display:
🕵️‍♀️: "Hey, Quintessa! Are you all right? You were kinda... glowing just now!" 🦎: "That... that was it! The Light of Heaven! But how..." 🕷: "What did you do with it? Where did it go?"
Seelah simply kneels down and prays.
Lann asks me to whip it out again.

Lann is thrilled at the prospects of this. Wenduag, not so much. Lann, worryingly, says that I'm better than them because I'm not a mongrel and Lann, sweetie, if I was allowed to take you along I'd see if I could do something about your self-esteem because oh boy is it in a deep underground pit below the city. Despite this, though, he definitely believes in the power I now hold, and is thrilled to be able to convince Chief Sull to go into the Maze and rescue those poor kids.
With that, our party has gone from three to five. Well, five plus Anevia, who's still plugging away at critters with her bow.

With our new local guides to show us the way, we head off. The way to the Shield Maze is through their village, so we have to make our way through there anyway.
Before we get to the village, however, Wenduag pulls me aside - she wants to have a private word. Essentially, she has a proposal for me: don't show Chief Sull the Light.
🪓: "Lann is sure that the Light should be shown to the mongrels." 🕷: "Lann... He wants to play the hero. His first idea, if you remember, was to grab the sword and run headlong into the Maze. Does that sound like a plan to you? To me it sounds like suicide. The worst part is that the tribe might actually take his words to heart and follow where he leads." 🪓: "I thought you considered the mongrels to be great warriors."

Rookie-Critic's Film Review Weekend Wrap-Up - Week of 4/24-4/30/2023

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019, dir. David Leitch) This was a good off-shoot for the F&F series. The Rock & Jason Statham feel comfortable as the titular duo and have excellent on-screen chemistry, and the action feels clean and exciting, which is no surprise considering the film was directed by John Wick-veteran David Leitch, who fits the franchise like a glove. I really enjoyed all of the climactic fight scenes with Hobbs' family in Samoa. Honestly, the more Cliff Curtis can be in major feature films, the better. Idris Elba and Vanessa Kirby also make for great additions to the growing franchise. It never really blew my mind like some of the mainline Fast films have, but I don't think it was really trying to. Sometimes a movie is just good, dumb, clean fun, and that's perfectly alright with me. I just hate that this film (along with a multitude of other behind-the-scenes reasons) means that we probably won't be seeing Luke Hobbs in any of the remaining Fast movies.

F9: The Fast Saga (2021, dir. Justin Lin) After the wholly disappointing and, frankly, upsetting misstep that was The Fate of the Furious, I was curious to see if F9 would continue the downward trend, or if it would step its game up to bring some of the franchise's former glory back. When in doubt, trust in Justin Lin, who comes swooping back into the franchise for the first time since Fast & Furious 6 to save the day, with fan favorite character Han Lue in tow. This is biggest, wildest fast film yet, and I mean that as a compliment. That's not to say that it's the best (that honor is still held by Fast Five), but it does return a lot of the wonder and sincerity that Five, Six, and (to a lesser extent) Seven had. Not to mention that it is the first film in the franchise to incorporate Sean, Twinkie, and Earl from Tokyo Drift into the family in a major way since Tokyo Drift (if you don't count a tiny cameo from Lucas Black's Sean in Furious 7). Nothing about F9 feels as baseline or low-effort as the stuff in Fate did. Even the introduction of a mysterious third Toretto sibling that, for some reason, we hadn't heard about for the past eight films feels out of place or shoehorned in. Needless to say, where Fate of the Furious had me wondering if the franchise was receding in quality, F9 has me just as pumped to go see Fast X in May as I was after watching Fast Five.

Guy Ritchie's The Covenant (2023, dir. Guy Ritchie) I went into this with a lot of apprehension. I was not a huge fan of the last Guy Ritchie film that tried to take a more serious approach to its tone (2021's Wrath of Man). It had a lot of grandstanding machismo bullshit that I hate to see in modern filmmaking. However, Ritchie really surprised me with The Covenant. He has Jake Gyllenhaal acting at the top of his game here with an equally impressive turn from Dar Salim as Ahmed the interpreter. While the story is fiction, it highlights a huge problem in the aftermath of the War on Terror: thousands of Afghani interpreters were hired by the U.S. military and promised special immigration visas for their service; a promise that turned out to be hollow. It sends its message without grandstanding and is critical of the U.S. military without putting itself on a soapbox. The film does tend to get overly self-indulgent during big sweeping climactic scenes and in certain emotional ones, as well. It's the one thing about the film that feels out of place, but even in spite of that, The Covenant is an excellent film and proof that Ritchie is capable of making a more serious-minded, message-oriented film than the humorous heist or caper films he's known for.

Chevalier (2023, dir. Stephen Williams) I'll just say up front that my bias might show a little in my scoring of this one. I have never been the biggest fan of 16-1800's period pieces. I'm not sure what it is, but something about them has just never gelled with me. That being said, there's nothing really wrong with Chevalier. In fact, it is, in my opinion, much better than the average film of this sensibility. The acting is fantastic and it sheds light on an oft-overlook but quintessentially influential figure in both classical music and the French revolution. The music is a huge plus in the film's favor, of course, and the costumes are, as is the case with most film's set in this era, masterfully crafted. I think my biggest qualm with the film is that it stops right as the French revolution is getting started and then tells the audience that Chevalier went on to be a great leader during the Revolution. Maybe it's just me, but I think that sounds interesting enough to make it's own film about. This almost makes me wonder (and I don't ever really feel this way about films) if this would have been better suited as an 6-8 episode miniseries as opposed to a film. We still could have focused a 2-3 episodes on Chevalier's childhood and young adulthood in France's pre-Revolution music scene, but then dedicated an entire half of the show to his accomplishments during the Revolution. Regardless, I don't want that to take away from the fact the Chevalier was quite good, and definitely worth the ticket price. I just think more could have been done with the wealth of untold history that exists within the lifetime of this figure.

Polite Society (2023, dir. Nida Manzoor) This movie absolutely ruled. It gave me all of the frenetic energy of the best Edgar Wright films while also giving me the genre-bending and jaw-dropping off-the-wall attitude of something like Everything, Everywhere, All at Once. This was a film that wasn't afraid to go for it in every way, shape, and form. From campy-but-well-choreographed fight sequences, to plot twist that twist so hard they'll make your head spin, to an unabashed approach to a female-empowerment narrative. Not to mention a story that is very uniquely Indian that touches on the nature of arranged marriages and classicism. Polite Society had everything that I look for in a film, and is a very early contender for the best of 2023 list. I'll save some of my more in-depth thoughts on stuff like the acting, writing, and cinematography for this week's full-length, but just know that if anything I've mentioned above sounds even remotely interesting, make this a priority watch (I don't want to say definitively that this is the best of the weekend's new movies because I haven't seen Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret yet, and I hear that is pretty amazing, as well).

A Good Man (2014, dir. Keoni Waxman) Yikes. Just... yikes. Friday movie nights with my college friends can get pretty wild sometimes. I've never seen a Steven Seagal film before, and maybe this wasn't the best one to start with (or, inversely, maybe it's the best one to start with). Seagal is clearly past his prime here (or, again, maybe in his prime, depending on your perspective), and looks like he's constantly on the verge of passing out. His words come out slurred and mumbled like he's on his deathbed, and his "action" in the film is cut around so heavily you really never see him actually do anything. The story is non-existent and the writing contains some of the most unintentionally hilarious one-liners I have ever heard in my entire life (I'm partial to the one where Seagal utters the baffling sentence "Well, I'm sorry to hear that, because now I'll snatch every motherfucker birthday." No, there's no typo there, that is verbatim what he says. My meme review is that this is great. Real "The Room" caliber stuff, here. My actual review is that obviously Seagal is a lunatic that is just self-funding whatever production he can fart out in an afternoon at this point. Honestly, if you want some quality takes on this, visit the Letterbox'd page.

Sisu (2023, dir. Jalmari Helander) I really wanted to love Sisu. I'm as much a fan of mindless action movies as the next guy, but the truth is I thought it was just ok. It delivers on exactly what it promised everyone in the trailers, one-man army kills the crap out of some Nazis for 91 minutes, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. There are a handful of really fun set pieces and lots of entertaining gore for fans of that kind of thing, but it just felt incredibly hollow. There are no characters in Sisu, only templates of archetypes that things happen to. No one learns anything, there's no journey to be had, merely an avatar quickly making his way through bodies to get to a destination. I'm not implying that every single movie needs to have some grand, elaborate story with deep and complex characters and rich subtext or anything like that, but I would have liked at least some substance to this. There are still things to enjoy in Sisu, and from what I've read I'm a slight outlier in not thinking this is incredible, but it just didn't connect with me. However, don't let that stop you from seeing this in the theater. The cinematography and style alone are worth the big screen experience.

Eda's reckless behaviour and overall mental health

Summary
Eda is a genius, but is very emotional when making decisions (not anger, but fear, stress ect.)
Her reckless behaviour and apple blood problem in my opinion are her ways of running from reality.
In season 1 she made a bit of progress on this issue. Then the finale happened. Then she made again progress and s2ep7 did a complete reset. And she is making progress now again.
Eda's intelligence

She's been a criminal for thirty years. She has been in the shady business for an extremely long time. Yes magic definitely helps but you also have to find a way to be on top of the game, so you can survive.
Remember Tibbles' shrinking potion. She can't really use a lot of magic if she is shrinked or poisoned and dead, can she? Not to talk about her enemies which you'd think would attack her now that she is magicless.
They haven't on screen, yet. The only ones that tried are Adegast and Tibbles and they both died without her using any magic (or close to nothing).
Now we know that she doesn't make plans a lot on screen. In s2ep3 especially she just let's Luz make the plan but that's because she is her mentor.
In s2ep6 Luz used sleeping needles which is wild magic so no, it's not knowledge coming from Hexside. Also the pickpocketing Luz mentioned.
Teachers don't do the tests instead of students.
She teaches her everything that isn't glyphs. I wouldn't be surprised if she has told stories to Luz about her best "outsmarting everyone in the room" moments.
Now we have seen some of her problem solving on screen. One of which was in ep.18 fight only using her channelled magic trough the staff (im not taking credit for noticing this, have no idea who did though) and used the bridge.
Also if she can telepathically talk to her staff. Owlbert saving Luz was probably her idea.
She had her impact on Raine's rebellion as well, without having magic or turning into a harpy.
"You are not our mom!"
"Wow, we actually helped people this time!"
"Bye, mommy Eda!"
In the back of her head she knows exactly what to do, everytime something happens.
Eda's mental health

Eda's curse and the nightmares it causes. The father incident. The fact that she probably thought Lilith was scared of her.
Lilith's hidden guilt and her taking her father's eye out don't mix well together. I wouldn't be surprised if they barely spoke even if they lived in a house together.
Her losing Raine.
Her faith in the emporer being broken.
She has seen a lot of death, that does impact people.
Season 1

At the beginning of the series she was making a lot of bad choices which don't aline with her experience.
The series starts with her getting caught by Warden Wrath. Instead of just sneaking, they were just walking comfortably in the corridors.
They are kids, one from another dimension, but her... She doesn't know better? And for a paper crown that she can replace by stealing from someone else.
Next episode we are introduced to her morning drink later on confirmed to be for adults only. And that drink didn't get a mention for the rest of the season. In that episode she is also not the most clear-headed. She didn't try to sneak, she didn't use potions. Didn't try to plan.
A list about her being impatient can go on and on.
So when does she think. When she realises it's dangerous (aka when it's right in her face). Literally in the first episode the moment she started doing stuff is when she got caught and spat on the warden's face.
In episode 2 she didn't do that because she didn't know if Luz was alive and had a hard time bottling her feelings. Like if Luz proved to him to be hard to keep tight up he could have killed her, the girl that came back for her and her son yesterday. And she proved to Eda that she is a little dangerous the previous episode with her fireworks.
Eda was rational again, after she was with both King and Luz.

As the series went on though she started to calm down a bit.
Firstly, the fact that she was so focused on fixing her card problem, after Tibbles scammed her, that she trew them away in another dimension.
I was wondering how she overcame it so quickly.
It also shows her knowledge of how to handle this type of problems which brings up a question. How did she learn it?
Secondly let's compare the first half of the season to the second.
1. Everything I already pointed out and was hiding the curse. The stuff that happened in ep.5. Her refusal to be parental in ep.7. Body swapped.
2. She gets scammed again (this time though, how do you expect that someone was digging their own grave). Didn't use a sleeping spell on the slitherbeast immediately instead was just standing there. Got caught by the fun police. Worsened King's stage fright.
In ep.15 because of her ignorance Luz and Amity almost die. Except that is not the full story. She had at this point a lot of faith in Luz and this was her friend's mind.
For Amity it's not that she hated her. Amity actually saved her in ep.12. It's because she wasn't that important for her to realise. "Omg Willow is at the very least extremely mad at her."
It's again a refusal to think, but for a stranger and not really on purpose. It was just a habit of hers.
Episode 18 and 19

At the beginning of the episode. Eda hid the curse, again.
When she learned that Lilith had kidnapped Luz. She didn't try to make a plan. She just revealed herself in all her glory while her magic was disappearing.
Shot the staff in a wall while she was having no idea, what that was supposed to accomplish.
Luz showed up and she finally started thinking.
Afterwards Lilith said we all know what and for the first time Eda's anger was the leader of her choices and Luz almost fell on to the spikes.
So then, for the very least a night, she was stuck in her mind with something, that was chasing her. She woke up to Emporer Baby the B*tch, who was telling her, he was about to go after Luz.
And no she didn't believe in Lilith, but was so overwhelmed. It was insane. So she begged. After some more running, she woke up to Luz in the Comformatoriam.
Next, she was about to get petrified and for awhile this was the calmest things have been since she got caught. Then Lilith shows up (ah yes she existed).
King jumped "She was trying to help!". Wait King was there.
Petrification beam go.
PURE PAIN!
Then she got the idea for all of them to fly away. Lilith shared the curse making the confusion even bigger. Then her magic is gone (that was a thing). She learned that the portal is destroyed. Now she was living with Lilith and might have starved to death with everyone else in the house.
After all of this she not only tried but HAD TO pretend that she was mentally stable, so they could survive this mess.
Season 2A

In episode 1 she told Luz not to go after big bounties and then tried to steal from a coven's ship.
At this point her emotions are the only thing that made decisions while they were also getting hidden. Don't get me wrong she did help and should, especially Luz but it's ALL feelings. She didn't think about consequences, which sometimes are good.
She didn't attack Lilith cause it's just not the time, she's scared from her own anger. Plus she can't really stand being with the roller coaster of emotions, that came with being in one room with her.
This didn't mean she didn't work with her and hadn't listened to the backstory, though.
The episode ends with her and everyone else not being close to dieing. Finally!
So now what? She tried to think about Lilith? Yeah, she probably preferred not to.
Then her glyph almost kills King, but Lilith showed up and helped. This is probably a familiarity she missed. So again she decided not to process it, but it definitely sticks.
She also didn't notice Luz being hurt.
Next episode, we saw Eda taking a shower which means she has healthy coping mechanisms, at least one, self-care and is not yet a workaholic.
Luz's apple blood joke is concerning.
After the events of episode 3. Luz probably told her that Lilith stayed with her and King, instead of just leaving them, get killed by Jean-Luc.
Then Eda still isn't certain where she stands about everything and Lilith just left, with her final act being, giving King mental issues.
Throughout this whole thing her mom was there with her cures/annual accidental attempt to kill her favourite daughter.
In this episode, Eda fell for apple blood signs. Rationality is out of the window.
In ep.6 she decided to help, with students getting palisman. Again not thinking about all the trauma, but finally doing something against her first instinct.

In ep.7 she heard King's "Le-" and refused to fully process, where the heck is he gonna go.
She also punched someone, cause this is gonna work?
Now she has reconnected with Raine having no idea should she even think of a romantic relationship again? And decided to be useful at least for something since she "can't raise kids".
She was helping and being very good at it, but it came from fear of loneliness.
Then she heard that Belos has a plan and just is overwhelmed. What if the kids get hurt, is she powerless?
Oh, look! Raine might be dead!
Next episode she overworked herself.
In between ep.8 and 9 she was trying to scare the beast into transforming. (She is losing her sanity. Literally the previous episode told her not to do that.)
In episode 9 again it's all emotional. She wants to feel better and be stronger, so she told King to blast her (almost blasting Amity), hit fool's blood even though Amity said the lake is further ahead.
Luckily she showed progress too.
She ate voles, which was against how she was feeling.
In ep.10 she was scared of letting Luz in the portal. I'm not saying she wouldn't have before, but I don't think it was easy.
Right now, after s2ep10, I think she isn't the most mentally stable. But she is definitely working on it.

1st: A horrible punishment from God is letting some guys know they will be in pain
like a woman giving birth!.....normally never have to think about this;
but if its so bad to me, why would I accept this precept of "nature" to put the girl I theoretically
would really love, in this sort of punishment!

Genesis 3:16
“Unto the woman he said,
I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and
thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children;
and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.”
2nd Definitely a punishment the amount of pain they go through!;
so one way to avoid this punishment would be to avoid having the babies right?
I perceive, that is what I would do and if one is truly a believer and has faith,
then they would be willing to wait until the after-life right?

5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place
and a name better than of sons and of daughters:
I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
3rd point: Eunuchs, as far as I understand, means like a barren man;
a man that doesn't have babies, or can't have babies, or chooses not to have babies.
Sounds like God says he will reward them better than the sons and daughters!..
.so then its a reward?
Jesus in LUKE 23:29
28But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem,
weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say,
Blessed are the barren,
and the wombs that never bare,
and the paps which never gave suck.

ISAIAH Chapter 32
9 Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice,
ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.
10 Many days and years shall ye be troubled,
ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.
11 Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones:
strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.
12 They shall lament for the teats,
for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.
4th: who are they? I'm not sure!...but as I remember at this point, the context of his message
was that it was good to not have babies at least in those days for sure!..
but its a help to an argument using scripture as the sword and shield to state its better to
not have babies in this world presently in.
ISAIAH 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear;
break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail
with child: for more are the children of the desolate
than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
5th: Clearly God, creator, is saying to woman to sing and be happy and rejoice
like she won something by not having babies!.. she avoided a major punishment
of woman by not having babies, I believe that is certainly true!...
Jeremiah 16:1-4
1The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
2Thou shalt not take thee a wife, neither shalt thou have sons
or daughters in this place.
3For thus saith the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters
that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare
them, and concerning their fathers that begat them in this land;
4They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented;
neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth:
and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and
their carcases shall be meat for the fowls of heaven, and for the
beasts of the earth.
(sounds like the Feast of the fowls at the end of the days as mentioned in
Revelations and in the old testament of Ezekiel,
please fear God and pay the respects due to make full good of these warnings)
Jeremiah 4:31 For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail,
and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child,
the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself...
6th ahh, pain...the first child must be a lot worse than its true;
the first one hurts more and after that its been opened already and stretched out
so I guess it makes sense..but I just don't like it anymore at all. its too gruesome sounding..
Jeremiah 13:21 What wilt thou say when he shall punish thee?
for thou hast taught them to be captains,
and as chief over thee: shall not sorrows take thee,
as a woman in travail?
Jeremiah 22:23 O inhabitant of Lebanon, that makest thy nest in the cedars,
how gracious shalt thou be when pangs come upon thee,
the pain as of a woman in travail!
7th: Its not gracious and its a punishment; and its a warning from God to man,
that if you do wrong won't you get punished like a woman in travail or something?
HORRIBLE!! thus if I conclude its a horrible punishment how can I then justify
wanting to put someone through it?
Prayer; please God never let me have to go through pains
like a woman in travail or anything like it;
or like how Krillin from dragon ball z was depicted in those videos to help understand scripture;
please help me;
I do believe that before the punishment it was different having babies;
I don't know how exactly; but clearly different since it says greatly multiplying the pain..

Leviticus 12 WHY SIN OFFERING FOR HAVING BABY?
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying,
If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child:
then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days
of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
5But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean
two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of
her purifying threescore and six days.
6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter,
she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon,
or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle
of the congregation, unto the priest:
7 Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and
she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath
born a male or a female.

other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her,
and she shall be clean.
MISCELLANEOUS
Jesus said in MATTHEW 24:19
19 And woe unto them that are with child,
and to them that give suck in those days!
Jesus said in LUKE 21:22+23
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days!
for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
Jesus said in MARK 13:17
17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
This regarding HOSEA 9, I believe can be best understood when referencing the passage
in ECCLESIASTES where the preacher saw all the oppressions done under the sun and praised the
dead more than the living, and said that better than both the dead and the living was that which never
existed. We also have Jeremiah in the book of JEREMIAH wishing he was never born, and Jonah in
JONAH wishing for death, and even Elijah wanting to not live. So if the world is a painful place to exist,
to bring a child into that world wouldn’t be righteous, and thus,
God giving them a miscarrying womb could be a greatly misunderstood mercy!
Who would feel good about bringing a child into this world to have it
be treated like the woman in Gibeah from Judges 19?
HOSEA 9
9 They have deeply corrupted themselves, as in the days of Gibeah: therefore
he will remember their iniquity, he will visit their sins.
11 As for Ephraim, their glory shall fly away like a bird, from the birth, and from the womb, and from the conception.
12 Though they bring up their children, yet will I bereave them,
that there shall not be a man left: yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!
13 Ephraim, as I saw Tyrus, is planted in a pleasant place:
but Ephraim shall bring forth his children to the murderer.
14 Give them, O LORD: what wilt thou give? give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
Only more recently did I see this prayer by Hosea as a prayer of Mercy and love.
I wonder if others had similar experiences searching for the kingdom of God and his righteousness.
Also remember Rachel died during giving birth to her 2nd Child,
Genesis 35:16 ...and Rachel travailed, and she had hard labour. 17And it came to pass, when she was in hard labour, that the midwife said unto her, Fear not; thou shalt have
this son also. 18And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing,
(for she died) that she called his name Benoni:
but his father called him Benjamin. 19And Rachel died...
