#Writing MHA probably 4ish?

How many hours/days took you to finish writing a single chapter of your amazing story??

Well it all depends on the length of the chapter usually. Chapters of obs&bh usually range from about 17/18k to 30k (umfb&mha chapter 14 was 34k but that was kind of an exception). At my best writing speed I can write about 1k per hour. So if I wrote at top speed with no breaks and no pauses it would take between 17 and 30 hours for a first draft. Now add on maybe 4ish hours because writing at your top speed is a nice dream but honestly a lot of writing is just staring at a blank page going ????? and I have about 21-34 hours. 

Then I have to redraft which is again pretty variable. Sometimes I can really like a lot of my first draft and only need to go in to redo small scenes and make tweaks in which case it’d probably take about 5 hours tops. But a lot of the time I have to completely delete whole scenes and start over again and things like that and so it can take somewhere up to about 10 hours. So worst case scenario you’re talking up to 31-44 hours. 

Then finally there’s final edits which is mainly running through and changing around sentence structure and little things like that which is 2-3 hours max and then proofreading one last time which only takes as long as it takes to read a chapter so many an hour or so.

Add that all together and I’d probably ballpark figure the writing time of one chapter to be somewhere between 30-50 hours. But really it is very variable and depends on a lot of different things.
