in my journey to creating a neat and aesthetic blog i decided to try my hand at editing again and i have made a few edits a while ago that i really like and want to use and/or show off so if you're reading this expect that in the future

and also, happy holidays and/or christmas to anyone that celebrates!

what am i going to talk about? well

that's an interesting question because i haven't given it much thought before starting to write this. great isn't it? yeah i know.

oh right, it has been brought to my attention that the lolirock staff are having discussions regarding the making of a third season which i am very excited about it (if, and only if this does happen to become a thing that is) because i am a massive lolirock fan myself

and as i am dedicating this blog to talk about shows and different media i enjoy i think this is quite a fitting topic to talk about.

if you don't know or if you don't remember (if you're reading this) lolirock is a french produced animated show for children

it has 2 seasons by far and is centered around 3 main characters (with two more being added in the second season)

iris, princess of ephidia who finds out she is a magical princess from another world

auriana, princess of volta who's obsessed with guys and food and kinda gives pinkie pie vibes as times if that makes sense to any mlp fans out there

and talia, princess of xeris who is generally a very serious and studious princess

i don't want to say too much in case anyone hasn't watched the show and wants to because spoilers is a touchy subject on the internet y'know

all i'll say is that the second season was left on a very obvious? i guess cliffhanger and the news about the possibility of us getting a third season to conclude the show is very exiting to me and i am sure many other people.

and well, that's my announcement ted talk thingy for today

how astonishingly awful is the resident hypercompetent tired disaster at being a patient

💐 How does your OC handle being unwell or forced to rest in bed? Who cares for them and in what ways? Does your OC enjoy being doted on or are they a terrible patient? Reversed: is your OC good at taking care of others who are ill or in need?

Hahaha this is a very interesting question for Xerie, because I feel like the whole scenario would go exactly like this:

-Xerie starts to feel unwell. Xerie hides this because they figure its not too bad and they can handle it.

- It is, in fact, pretty bad, and so a switch in their brain flips and they go "OH FUCK, I'm sick, huh!?" and then all of their ability to do anything just. stops. All they can do is curl up in bed and sniffle miserably while someone takes care of them. They are very cuddly at this point, and very scared. They probably only trust Carth or Bastila to take care of them, to be honest, and get extremely clingy.

- They start to heal/get better a little bit and once their thoughts are less foggy, they have exactly two of them. 1) I am feeling better, which means it's unacceptable that I am doing nothing. 2) I have been vulnerable for too long. Attack is inevitable.

-They start doing things again, which of course makes their condition worse and they have to be watched to make sure they don't hurt themself worse by repeating the cycle and they need constant reassurance that it’s okay to rest and that no one's gonna hurt them

As for the reversed bit...  One one hand, they can handle injuries well. If you are injured they know how to take care of you and your wounds and can treat you almost as well as a proper medic.

On the other hand,  if you are sick they have no clue how to handle that. They'd probably heat up a can of space chicken soup in the space microwave and float it over to you with the Force and then flinch every time you cough.

Which of your OCs would decorate their house for Halloween?

Hekatrina: Definitely me. They do not called me the Princess of Halloween for nothing. 😏

Nergella Utonium-Pines: Of course, it was fun I get to spend time being creative with my mommies, and my auntie does the planning and organizing. I am going to be an angel this year. 😄

Niko Corduroy: Hell yeah, make that say that kids fears my house because of how spooky it was. The webs and Venom jumpscaring made people's blood run cold.

Ivy Layla Thrall: Hmph, don't you means Samhain? The Samhain is a liminal time, when the boundary between this world and the Otherworld could more easily be crossed. This allows the Aos Sí, the 'spirits' or 'fairies', come into our world easily. Everyone need to pleased the Aos Sí so that the people and their livestock survived the winter. I gave offerings of food and drink that were left outside for them. There was also feasts I must made for the souls of the dead, my ancestors who have a place set in the table as they were revisiting their homes seeking hospitality. And I myself seen them many times. Though I never seen a red haired woman in black before. She came many times, but do not know her name.

*A photos dropped on the floor, it revealed Ivy as a cowgirl and Bea as Thor trick-and-treating when they were young. Ivy quickly picked up her photo and put it in her purse.*

Ophelia Liv Kleiss: I am afraid not, I spent my life training and honing my skills as a fighter, educated, and taught to be a fine and proper lady in all my life.

Trixie Wilkins: Yeah, but not anymore, since my mom passed away it is one of things that have changed. My mom taught me how to carve a jack-o'-lantern, and how to make a mummy costume. She even made the best candy apples that were the trick-and-treaters' favorite. Especially mine. Last year, I was dressed up as one of the heroes, Talia, Princess of Xeris, Albert was Albert Einstein, and my parents were their Dungeon and Dragon character, a Tiefling strategist and my mom was a Archer Elf. Such a good memory. *Sniffle* 😢

Talia herds Lev up into her own room, the one she regrettably shares with Auriana, and settles onto her bed to think. Lev has taken to lounging, entirely comfortable and entirely too distracting, on the desk in the corner. Talia hides her face in her hands to smother those thoughts. Okay. She can think things through. Come up with excuses. She... the anniversary of the Fall of Xeris is coming up, she can blame some of her distractability on that.

Lev coughs from where he's perched, and Talia glances up at him with a frown.

"You could just tell the truth."

"N-no! Absolutely not, that... that's a terrible idea and you know it, Little Lion." There's a knock on the doorframe, and a confused hum.

"I was going to tell you to let me know when you invite guests up here, but I seem to be intruding on something else. I was going to make myself some wine, would you like any?" Talia blanched, staring wide-eyed at Iris's Aunt. The woman smiled at her, and Talia took a moment to calm herself.

"N-no, I'm. I'm fine." Ellen hummed, nodded, and slipped out of the doorway. Before it closed, she smiled at Talia over her shoulder.

"Do remember to tell me next time you bring someone upstairs, Princess."

"I... yes ma'am." Talia flushed, as the door clicked shut. Lev snickered, and Talia glared at him.

"What? She has you pegged! She knows I'm here, even if she doesn't know who I am. It can't be that hard to just... tell Auriana and Iris the Wonder Princess."

"I don't want them to freak out! It's bad enough you're dead, and unwilling to let me help you! Do you want them to be asking me questions about you, too??" Lev flinched, and crosses his arms, posture closing off and losing that flirty edge. Talia ignored the part of her that lamented its absence, focusing instead on what mattered.

"Princess-"

"I'll handle it, Fuqor. You don't need to worry."

"Princess." Talia glanced up at him in surprise, eyes wide. He frowned back.

"It's not your job to help me, or protect me, or anything like that. You don't need to worry about my privacy or comfort, you know."

"But it is-!"

"I'm dead, what does it matter anymore?"

"That is exactly why it matters! The dead deserve respect, and to be treated well! You've been through enough without needing to have your dirty laundry dredged up for no reason!"

Lev stared at her in silence, clearly surprised. Talia hid her face in her hands. He coughed, again, and if she didn't know it was impossible she'd wonder if he was somehow sick. He must just want her attention. She glances at him through her fingers.

"You're... really serious about this whole... helping the dead thing, aren't you?"

"Yes! Of course I am!" She couldn't help the offense bleeding into her tone. He winced.

"I just... I don't get it. I kinda understand wanting to help me as soon as possible to get me out of your hair, but you're concerned about my <em>safety</em> of all things... and my... emotional wellbeing? It's different."

"Of course I care about you being safe! And happy or content or at least not humiliated! You... you said it, yourself. You're dead, you're more vulnerable than you're comfortable with. I don't want to add to that feeling, Lev." He blinked at her again, and Talia had to hide behind her hands for the third time in as many minutes.

"You know, if I'd known you'd be falling over yourself to help me out like this, I probably wouldn't have fought the whole... waking up thing."

"You were <em>fighting it??"</em>

"I mean... yeah? I <em>don't</em> really have any unfinished business or unfulfilled dreams, Princess! Death was always a risk as a spy, and to have left a dream unreached, one must have had a dream to start with. I saw no real reason to stick around." Talia groans and scrubs her fingers through her bangs, tugging on her hair in the hopes of figuring out what to even <b>do</b> with information like that.

KOTOR Era

AWell, there’s the Exile and Revan, so might as well introduce them first but then I go off on a tangent.

Xerie Kolb/Revan

I’m going with the Memoryless!Revan image because, uh, they wear a mask most of the time anyways when they know who they are. Yeah, that’s the explanation I’m going with. This is Xerie, an :3 gremlin motherfucker, and so is Revan. The chaos in this form of this is more benevolent but they’re still. A Lot. A theatrical, chaotic, over-the-top presence.

Alexin Siladi/The Jedi Exile

Also known as Lex the Ex. She is also a :3 motherfucker but to a lesser extent because I actually think it’s impossible to match Revan’s chaos levels. Lex is the love of my life, the stars to my sky, my everything <3. She has a lot of issues she’s working through, as the Jedi Exile (you know how it is), aaaand she’s not. sure how to feel about Revan atm. She’ll get back to you on that. She is  trying to be a kinder person tho so I’ll give her that <3

Darth Eitqet/Keth Balgri

There’s an icon of them without the mask too but uh you’re not getting it. It’s not what they’d want. Eitqet is a Jedi-Turned-Sith near the end of the Mandalorian wars, but not for that reason (cough cough). They just. Were going through some stuff and ended up being taken advantage of by a manipulative motherfucker who was like “yeah, teenage angst. can use that to make a good sith.” and then he did and Eitqet has a lot of trauma from it tbh. They had a boyfriend named Isifel Balgri who was a soldier who worked for them and, uh, fucking died. But he had a little sister, Teelyn, who Eitqet secretly sent money to because Force forbid anyone know they care about someone.  After they step away from the Sith, and their Sith persona, they take the name Keth Balgri because they’re trans and didn’t want their deadname or any association with it so just picked a name they thought was cool and got Teelyn’s permission to have her dead brother’s last name.

Also I call Keth redeemed!Eitqet a lot but they’re not lightside. Well, they are but they aren’t. They kinda swing back and forth depending on the day and who’s supervising. They are trying though lmao.

OH RIGHT PLOT they are looking for pieces of an ancient artifact called “The Puzzle” but Ceres has the map to the pieces and so they reluctantly travel with her. Ceres lets them travel with her because she can’t get through the Sith temples without a Dark Side Force user.

Ceres Beatrix

A Jedi who’s trying to find pieces of an ancient artifact called “The Puzzle” for... hm, reasons ;-) (I know them but it’s spoilers lmao) while trying to keep her chaotic crew of two children and a Sith Lord under control. She is a very sweet and kind healer who happens to be a sarcastic bastard who swears like a trucker. She’s also dogshit at fighting, unfortunately for her.

Mihya Endan

Baby Nautolan padawan c:. She’s Ceres’, like, 13 year old padawan who is just adorable tbh. When she was, like, 9, before she became Ceres’ padawan, she rescued Ceres from underwater assassins after having a Force Vision of them attacking her and Ceres was like “Hmm...”

She’s autistic (all of my characters are autistic coded tbh, and everyone in this era is especially autistic coded because GDI I want representation) and her special interest is animals? Like, you could go to any planet, point at any animal, and go “Hey, Mihya, what’s that?” and as long as it had been discovered before she could and would tell you all about it. This is also very helpful because she wants to make friends with any animal she sees, and does. Like, don’t get me wrong, it’s because she’s Force sensitive but there are very few animals she can’t get along with.

Also there’s a running gag of not being allowed to curse. She really wants to curse and Ceres is a fucking hypocrite.

Oh, she’s also the, like, great great aunt of my Hero of Tython Umeka Endan.

Teelyn Balgri

Another baby. She is Isifel’s 13 year old little sister who is barely scraping by in an apartment on Nar Shaddaa because Eitqet’s “hey i’m sorry your brother died under my command also i was in love with him :/” checks just cover the rent, basically. This gal has a lot of burden on her.  Anyways, one day, when Eitqet & co. are on Nar Shaddaa, she ends up pissing off the Exchange who were going to hurt and/or kill her and Eitqet saved her ass but since they killed some Exchange folks it wasn’t, uh, safe for her to stay there, so this extremely normal teen girl just ends up being brought along for a Space Wizard Adventure. Also, she is the only one who can tell Eitqet what to do (and they voluntarily listen).

Isifel Balgri

Teelyn’s older brother, and Eitqet’s lover. He was a soldier who worked for Eitqet aaaand he died. Whoops. He was the only person Eitqet trusted. Shit sucks, man.

Darth Nos

Eitqet’s Sith Master. A manipulative prick who thinks he’s the shit. He’s not actually that cool but he did invent a Force technique and then used it on Eitqet, which still causes them issues to this day. Eitqet killed him for that, though. And because they thought he was going to kill him but that’s beside the point. Anyways, he’s bastard and very bad.

Segai Oake

The ancestor of Barsen’thor Tharril Oake :-)

Eitqet’s Jedi master. Eventually, like 10 years after Eitqet left the Jedi, Oake found them and confronted them and it, uh, didn’t go well for her. There was a big fight: Ceres and Oake vs Eitqet but Ceres was never good at fighting and Oake was unprepared and.... she, uh, died. Eitqet killed her. Yeah. Their worst moment, tbh.

Aria

Aria’s existence is a huuuuge spoiler for the end of the story. Aria is a talented Sith sorceress, but she has always been unable to limit her power. Because of this, when she was 6 years old, she accidentally orphaned herself. She spent the rest of her childhood and early teens trying and failing to learn to control her power, but when she got older, some Sith lords discovered the power she held and used her as a weapon of mass destruction. It quickly became apparent that abuse of Aria's powers led to her deteriorating health, which already had never been great, and that if she pushed herself too far she could put herself in serious danger. Her Sith masters didn't care, though, only caring about exploiting her power, only barely stopping short of killing her each time and eventually Aria had had enough, turning her power on them instead. She continued to work for the Sith Empire, and work to the same limits, but she always knew when she felt safe to stop and allowed herself rest in between bouts of exertion. Eventually, she was granted the title of Sith Lord and works to further the Empire's interests.

Doesn't seem to take anything seriously (she does, but she does not show it), likes to make jokes, tease people, and generally stir up trouble between people. She can be very annoying, and if she finds someone whose presence she enjoys she will cling to them.

She's very sadistic and enjoys hurting people, especially people who have hurt her.
