More ladybug pictures. I haven't done anything with my dolls for a while but last week I got really inspired to make something for Halloween, anticipating many great doll photos on my dash. So I quickly sewed this black dress and the cape/ladybug wings.

The colours don't like as nice in these pictures as they do in person (Artificial light my enemy) but I'm proud of how these have all turned out, especially the silky pink floral one.

They are all yosd size apart from the bottom left black one, that's msd size! I'll be listing these on etsy at some point, I'm making a mixture of fancy decorated ones and simple plain ones like the one in the middle ✌️ They just take several days to make because it's all handsewn 😅

The other day I was going home by bus and a little girl got on holding a huge version of the same husky plush. The girl and the plush had roughly the same proportions as the doll and the tiny plush on the photo. It was adorable and everyone on the bus loved it. She could barely carry the plush to an empty seat. Her mother was a bit embarrassed by the attention but she really shouldn't have been, it was the sweetest thing.

Ahhhh Fumiko looks so much better now~! got her a new wig and eyes and now she looks complete. i wasn't sure about the 14mm eyes when i ordered them, but they're perfect ~~

now that she kind of matches Clarice (my mel) i might have them be sisters ? iunno xD (probably will)

Another outfit for Lolly! I'm also currently working on a little smock to go over the top, though it'll take longer due to the sleeve embroidery! Admittedly it would all be a lot quicker if I used the sewing machine, but I just prefer doing everything by hand 😅

I did some doll maintenance yesterday which included addressing the bodies of the babies. I forgot to buy body suits for them & but also didn’t plan to ever change their clothes, so I said “who cares if they stain!” But truthfully I did care 🤣

I swapped out the parts that were stained to a spare body, and now both are safely wearing white until I can get a second suit. I wanted to remake some parts of their original outfits anyway, so this works out!
