Introducing: Invernoric

Invernoric is a umbrella term that is centered and based on winter and nullarity or gendernullness. It is a very broad umbrella term that can include xenogenders, aesthetigenders, neurogenders, etc. underneath it. It can, however, be simply used as a xenogender, but does not definitively have to be. The umbrella, in general, is gendernull, but does not necessarily have to be in that form and can include any type of genderedness under it.

It can be paired with other genders as well, examples including invernorgender, invernorboy, invernorabigender, etc. It can stand alone as well as an alignment or an “-in-nature” term. These are called invernonian (alignment) and INVERNIN (invernonian-in-nature). If a galactian alignment term is wanted, it can be called brumian (derived from Latin, bruma, meaning “winter, the winter solstice”). It can be also influenced by neurodivergence and can, therefore, be a neurogender. The term for invernoric-loving-invernoric is floconic (derived from French, flocon, meaning “snowflake”)

Finally, invernoric can be combined with other genders as a modifier term. Chiefly, it can be used if someone’s identity feels as if it is invernoric. Examples include being invernoric and bigender, or feeling as if someone’s bigenderness is invernoric. In this case, they can use invernonian / invernoric bigender.

Invernoric terms are defined as being at least one or more of these things:

A connection to the winter solstice or winter in general. It revolves around anything that can have a remote connection to winter, especially snowfall, snowflakes, and coldness.

It may also be influenced by gendernullity and bleakness, and also may have ties to things that are bleak or give gendernull vibes. Anything the user considers gendernull may be under the umbrella.

Anything that brings the user wistful emotions, sadness, depression, or overall negative feelings, etc. can be included under the umbrella generally speaking.

Feelings of peace, tranquility, and yearning, etc.

A major connection to animals or things that have deep connections to the winters, or are impacted by the winter.

Anything not listed but similar to above concepts may also be placed under the umbrella.
