idol! soobin x med student! reader

both of you might not have a lot of time for each other, but whenever you do, soobin does his best to plan for your dates (you feel guilty cuz you think it should be you making the plans, but he insists on it)

it's a cycle, really; he does something for you. in return, you also do the same, and vice versa

you guys both know that you do different things, and understand the difficulty it comes with

he lets you do med practices on him,,

yk a pretend patient, and if he needs to lie down, i'm pretty sure he sleeps (you just let him sleep with bandages on and take weird pictures, then send them to his members too)

he saw you holding a syringe once and almost ran out; you had to reassure him that you were not going to take anything from him

oh and if it's a roleplay, HE WILL ACT and gets flustered (of course his face needs to be covered in the video)

he will do anything for you

when he comes home from practicing, you might see some wounds and bruises. he says it's fine, but you ARE a med student; of course you will tend to it

he can't pretend if he starts feeling ill

you randomly start saying medical terms to him, like anatomy, and he gets confused, but it's just your way of memorizing

so he just stands there while you point to some parts

omggg when you go to the library, he WILL reach for the books you need and carry them even though they're very heavy why are the books so huge

he thought you couldn't attend the concert cuz you were busy

but when he saw you holding a banner with his name on it, he smiled so wide

a fan took a perfect picture of that moment and it became famous within the fandom

omfg imagine seeing that and knowing you were the reason he smiled so much i'll fucking melt

you studied until late at night, and he kept scolding you to sleep. it didn't work, so he sat next to you with a drink he made for you. in the end, he still slept, and you took it as a sign to actually take a rest. you woke him, and he got surprised, making you laugh at him. 

"we should actually sleep on the bed now," you told him, and he wrapped you in a hug and carried you to your shared bed. "soobin, i still haven't washed up. let go." 

"yeah, you stink." he lets go of you, and you slapped him then went to the bathroom. "be fast with it! i miss you already!" he screamed.

you were finally done, and you saw him with a blanket on, hugging your plush. you removed the plush from his arms and replaced it with yourself, your back on his chest. he snuggled into your neck and kissed it.

"goodnight, y/n."

it was already night, and you were walking in the hallway back to your apartment. you were tired from having to celebrate your birthday with your family and friends the whole afternoon. one person was missing, though. you expected him to be there already, but you thought maybe he decided to spend it with his friends. nonetheless, you had fun with the party your family created. 

as soon as you opened the door, the lights were on. you were confused because you remembered you turned them off before leaving. you walked into the living room and saw him standing there with a cake. 

"happy birthday to us!" he greeted you and put on his biggest smile. "sorry, i wasn't able to be at your party. my friends had other plans, but i guess it's better for us to spend it alone together," he added.

"i really thought you forgot about me." you teased him and looked closely at the cake. it was decorated nicely with cute doodles and a penguin holding a 'happy birthday' banner.

"let's blow the candles out," kai held it closer between you two. "make a wish first," he said as he closed his eyes. you looked at him, and you were certain that your wish had already come true.
