What were your Favorite scenes from aawil ?

i dunno if it's just a me thing because i really like the hooks in stories but i REALLY adore the beginning scenes.

the introduction to david & jack in the first 10 minutes was an absolute delight to be with because wow are they just some stupid guys who did stupid stuff in london

— a lot of the beginning was really my favorite because i kind of just sat there like "idk WHAT THE FUCK is happening but whatever it is it's silly as fuck."

another scene i really really enjoyed was specifically the second time dead jack showed up to taunt david about killing himself, because it was RIGHT BEFORE shit went down and it was absolutely hilarious to see jack go "hey david :) you should REALLY kys!" meanwhile david is stressing about like a crazy dog because he is one

speaking of crazy dog david i thought it was absolutely hilarious when david after his first transformation just went... full stupid. like we find him in a zoo, and the first thing he does is go around stealing clothes, finds alex, and goes full puppy mode because he wuuuuuvsss allexxxx and i just think that him being all clingy with her was fucking hilarious bc DOG!!! YOU'RE A DOG!!! (as if he didn't just kill like 6 people the night before)

i really did just enjoy all of the movie but my favorite parts were unfortunately mostly just of david & jack being stupid and then david being the most of the most when it came to dogging out (in a werewolf sense. i just like characters who are animal coded in some essence...)

#most of the parts i enjoyed seemed to mostly be the popular ones #but in my defense whenever i like something popular I'm usually like “well it is popular for a reasonn...”#this took way longer than I would've loved to reply to but i was out of the house from 1 to just now #so i had like no proper time to write long responses aside from my soda blog (bc it kept me occupied)#but i really do love this movie hehehe #aawil

Do you think there’s narrative significance to David wearing a blue puffer vest when he’s out with Alex before the full moon and then when Him and Alex go out the next morning after he transformed the night before he’s wearing a bright red puffer vest ?

interesting question! there very well could be some significance in the color coding but tee hee haitch im not sure - i haven’t paid a lot of attention to color in the movie. but i’ll keep an eye out next time methinks.
