Goodbye Al(istair)
Abi Fitz & Agnes Kitsworth au based on Goodbye Earl by The Chicks
Agnes and Abi met in high school, and became very close. They were inseparable, attending the same classes and joining the same clubs. They were best friends, and they'd do anything for each other. When they graduated, Agnes kissed Abi on the cheek, said her goodbyes, and went looking for inspiration in the big wide world. Abi, working at the plant nursery in town, found Alistair. He was nice, and handsome, and he smiled whenever he saw her, so when he asked her to marry him, she couldn't think of a reason to say no. She should've. As soon as they were married, Alistair changed. He hurt her in ways she didn't think she could hurt, and she had to cover bruises that she never thought she'd have to hide with sunglasses, and long sleeves, and thick concealer.
The day Alistair put her in the hospital was the final straw.
She reached out to Agnes, who flew straight home without hesitation, and they made a plan. Alistair had to go, and the police weren't going to do anything to help them. He had already managed to put her in the hospital once despite her restraining order. So, they slip something into his dinner one night, and Alistair Fitz is never heard from again.
Finally able to have some peace, Agnes and Abi buy a farmhouse on some incredibly lush land where Abi can grow strawberries and peaches, and they sell jam at a roadside stand together. And if they raise a child together with an old flame from high school, well, that's just another plus to Alistair being a missing person, a missing person that was never actually missed.

"Afraid to get your hands dirty?" Said to Fitz please.
I decided this was Fitzhunter, and it's going to fit into The AU We Deserve! Thanks for the prompt, nonny!
You can read it on ao3 here or read it below!
Leo woke up alone, which wasn’t terribly unusual, but he’d gone to sleep with Hunter. He pushed himself up and blearily looked around. They’d stumbled into Hunter’s hotel room, pulling at each other’s clothes desperately. Leo had been three seconds from exploding with a bomb he was deactivating, and Hunter had kissed him as soon as he was free from the team’s overbearing concern.
“Don’t you dare do that again,” Hunter had said, voice small and scared in Leo’s ear. “I don’t want to lose you, Leo. I can’t.”
“You won’t,” Leo had said, and they hadn’t let each other go all night. Waking up alone after that was jarring.
“Lance,” he called. There was no response. He sat up and rubbed the last bit of sleep from his eyes, trying to find him. “Baby?”
There was still no response.
He got out of bed and found his clothes by the door of the hotel room, laying in almost a heap. Hunter had pushed him against the door and stripped him right there, leaving the evidence by the door. Hunter’s clothes were closer to the bed, Leo stripping them off against the wall with a frantic desperation to be close, to feel close to him.
His phone ran in his jeans pocket, and he dug through the pile to find it. He had a screen full of notifications, from his mums and da, Jemma and Daisy, one even from Coulson. On top, though, Hunter was calling him. He answered with a concerned hello.
“Hey baby, can you come outside?” Hunter asked.
“Outside?”
“Yeah,” Hunter said. “There’s something I have to show you.”
“What is it?”
“Afraid to get your hands dirty?” Hunter teased.
“First thing after waking up, expecting cuddles and kisses? Absolutely.
“That’s an incredibly good point. Tomorrow, morning cuddles and kisses are all yours.”
“Do you promise?”
“I do promise,” Hunter said, and it was full of all his affection. “I’ll hold you against my chest like the little spoon you are, and kiss you all over to wake you up. Does that sound good to you, love?”
The way he spoke, low and almost rumbling, into the phone sent an excited chill through Leo.
“You sure I have to go out there?” Leo whined.
“Yeah, baby, I’ll make it worth your while, okay?”
“Fine, but you better.”
Leo dressed and met Hunter downstairs in the lobby.
“Now, Leo Radcliffe,” Hunter said, “my beautiful, intelligent, law-abiding darling.”
“I don’t like the way you phrased that.”
Hunter, holding Leo’s hand, walked him down the sidewalk into a nook between the hotel they were staying at and the next one over.
“Hunter?”
“Shh, hold on,” Hunter said. They stopped halfway down and there was a sad looking Asiatic lily plant, next to it a pot and a trowel.
“Lance,” Leo said.
“It’s dying because the soil is all wrong for it, and I won’t let it just die.”
“Lance, we’re not stealing the hotel’s plants.”
“We’re not doing it. I am. I just need you to stand watch and let me know if anyone gets suspicious.”
“And if you do successfully steal this plant, where are you keeping it? Are you going to stroll past the front desk with a plant that you thieved from their backyard?”
“They won’t know it’s their plant unless you decide to snitch. Besides, I’m rescuing her, not thieving.”
Leo rolled his eyes and said, “alright. I’ll stand watch.”
Hunter caught him for a kiss, slow and lingering like he didn’t want to step away.
“Leo Radcliffe, are you always this perfect, or are you just trying to butter me up?”
“Mmm, just don’t tell my mums or da, okay?”
“I won’t. I don’t want to make them think I’m corrupting you. I want them to like me.”
“Planning on meeting my parents already?”
“Yeah. I don’t take just anyone to bed.”
“That’s definitely a lie. Remember we were friends first.”
Hunter scoffed once, and pinched Leo’s side playfully.
“Okay, well, even then, you’re different. I want you to be there the next morning when I wake up. You’re the exact opposite of a coyote ugly.”
“Just steal your plant, Agent Hunter. We’ll talk about meeting my parents later.”
“Yes, Doctor Radcliffe.”
