#accurate disabled rep is more important then your realism

i'm not sure how well i can portray what im trying to say, but the point of drawing brightheart with the proper, massive facial scarring she's described with is more important than being realistic. yes, a real cat would grow fur back over it, this is not a real cat, this is a small human in a cat's pelt. unless you are treating the ENTIRE SERIES with 100% realism, there is no reason to lessen brightheart's scars. the accurate depiction of something a human can have in the real world is more important than being accurate towards real life cats. same goes for jayfeather, and briarlight, and cinderpelt, and all the other disabled cats.
