Flyer Artwork 2016 Floating Flower Western Japan Tour 2016  Floating Flower is a minimal raga folk unit formed in 1998 by the Indian classical musicians Tetsuya and Yuki Kaneko, and Makoto Kawabata from Acid Mothers Temple. They released two albums in the late 90s that were praised to the skies by some American and European magazines. The albums have been reissued several times on CD and LP, and in 2014 they were reissued in digitally remastered form to coincide with the group's reappearance. Floating Flower is a unique band - Tetsuya Kaneko is Japan's only pakhavaj performer, Yuki plays unusual Indian violin, while these albums are the only ones in Kawabata's entire 37 year musical career that feature him playing just gut guitar. Nakatani Gong Orchestraを率いてのドローン演奏等、従来のドラマーとは全く異なるアプローチを見せる異能ドラマーと、恍惚系ギタードローン開祖の邂逅。一聴してもドラムとギターとは到底信じられない、楽器演奏法に関しても既成概念を超越した不可思議音響を、完全即興演奏で展開。 2015年、2016年、2017年と3度に渡る日本ツアーは大好評を博し、2016年11月にはアメリカツアーも敢行。そして今回4度目の国内ツアーは、昨年初共演し大好評博した宍戸幸司（割礼）とのトリオが千秋楽！！　甲府桜座は二度目となる。

<プロフィール> ナカタニ・タツヤ（Tatsuya Nakatani） パーカッショニスト。昭和45年兵庫県神戸市生まれ、15歳の頃からドラムセットを叩き始める。20代前半に渡米、西海岸を拠点とし音楽活動を始める。その後ボストン、ニューヨーク、ペンシルバニアと拠点を移し、現在ニューメキスコ州在住。 ドラム・パーカッション（ベースドラム、フロアタム、スネアドラムなど）やゴングを基本とし、弓や特殊スティックなどで造形された生音（アコースティック）での演奏は独自な音として高く評価されている。 1990年代からアメリカ、中南米、ヨーロッパ各国にて演奏活動を続ける。近年は特にアメリカ大陸を頻繁に縦断、横断するツアーを重点に演奏活動する。年間百本を超えるソロ•コンサートを中心に各地で様々なミュージシャン、ダンサー、アーティストとの共演を行う。 北米中心に行っている大型企画に「ナカタニ・ゴング・オーケストラ」があり、各国各地でのワークショップで育てた11人の現地弓弾きゴング・プレーヤーと共に、クリーブランド・モカ美術館やワシントンDCケネディーセンターなどを始め、全米各地、メキシコ主要都市の現代美術館、アートセンターで演奏を経験する。 ライブ演奏活動の他に、各地の音楽大学でのマスタークラス、ワークショップ、レクチャーを行い、また自作弓の製作、録音やレコード出版販売も行う。 ウェブサイト：http://hhproduction.org フェイスブック：https://www.facebook.com/tatsuya.nakatani

河端一 (Makoto Kawabata) 欧米にて絶大な支持を受けるサイケデリックロックバンド「Acid Mothers Temple」を率い、その轟音超高速ギタリストとして認知される一方、ソロ活動に於いては、弓弾きやグリッサンドギター等を駆使し、ギタードローンの開祖としても広く知られる。1978年に自作楽器と電子音による作品を製作発表以来、様々なユニットを結成しては、世界中より膨大な数の作品をリリース、また欧米を中心に精力的にツアーも行い、その活動の全貌把握は困難を極める。Gong、Guru Guru、Silver Apples、Nik Turner、Damo Suzuki、Träd Gräs och Stenar, Geoff Leigh (ex.Henry Cow) 等、サイケデリック・オリジネーター達との合体、Rosina de Peira、Marc Perrone、Andre Minvielle、Beatritz 等、南仏オクシタン・トラッドミュージシャン達との共演をはじめ、Jean-François PauvrosやRichard Youngsとのコラボレーション、その他セッション活動もジャンル問わず多岐に渡る。 www.acidmothers.com

アカシア(オープニングアクト) 望月正人（ディジュリドゥ）、望月隼人／bleed for pain（ギター）による即興DUO。<望月正人>オーストラリアの先住民族アボリジニの伝統楽器ディジュリドゥの演奏者。自身のバンド「アカシア」での演奏を中心に、他のジャンルとのセッションも行っている。活動、玉井康成と6時間半の即興 DUOライブ。2012年「水と土の芸術祭」に出演など。<望月隼人>ギタリストとして１０代の頃よりハードコアバンドで活動。 近年では舞踏家、コンテンポラリーダンサーとの関り合いを持つ。
