#Haha.... we are laughing..........#tho obv if we're thinking about cat and lysa it's the opposite. lysa the unloved only bearing one child vs cat having A Lot#lysa kinda getting rachel's infertility plot there ig.#but: leah bearing all these awful heirs vs rachel bearing prophets and sweethearts! stark main character syndrome lol#cat gets to be the mother of kings with a loving husband and what does lysa get... bound and sold and locked away for a war!#anyway i guess it's just kinda an archetypal sister story but my alarm sirens went off#icefire is so biblical idk if any of it was intentional but i KNOW grrm was poring thru his Kids Bible looking for the messed up stuff#actually tbf i actually do think the jaime cersei jacob and esau thing was at least an intentional allusion#in some capacity.
