Hey y’all! There’s a short Jurassic world cartoon (only 8 episodes) by dreamworks animation on Netflix! It’s called Camp Cretaceous and it’s actually quite good! It takes place slightly before and during the events of Jurassic World and makes a nice companion piece. The cast is diverse and a nerdy black kid is the main character. And the cast is a perfect 50/50 split of boy/girl! Which is DOPE imo, considering dinosaurs are usually marketed as a “boy” interest. I’m on ep5 rn and I’m quite enjoying it. Much like Jurassic World, it’s not exactly intelligent cinema, but it’s been really fun so far, which is all I ask of Jurassic movies lol.

#at first i was getting annoyed about the lack of......coordination and supervision of children in such a dangerous environment #but at least the counselors take a pause to beg for more staff and support so like. unlike most jurassic media its self aware of how #asinine and ill-thought out its premise is. 😂#yall know me—i can find something enjoyable in all jurassicmedia.#EXCEPT fallen kingdom. FUCK fallen kingdom.#this is much better than that tho. 😂 better than jp3 too #i wont compare to jp2 bc i like jp2 against the majority #its very on par with jw1 but again i greatly enjoyed jw1 #apple talks #the social media girl while annoying is semi likeable and written like a real person. and shes so goddamn pink i love her design #i love all theor designs. and i actually dont hate any of the characters no matter how annoying they are at times #even the alpha male douche is a well rounded and fleshed out character #and theyve accomplished this in less than 90 min which is rad #actually u know what? better than jw1 (sans raptor squad). the characters and writing are much better lmfao
