I love the crew of the bluebird so much because yes, it is a dysfunctional found family, but mostly in the way that they have to hang out with blue because he’s their boss, blue and zero are obliviously in love, aava is extremely lonely and likes making fun of the others and everyone loves synox, who does NOT want to be here or be friends with any of these people.

obsessed with how blue showing up to the gala with zero on one arm and aava on the other is 100% going to read to the rest of the imperials as him having gathered a weird bisexual alien harem around him and flaunting it. he does not realize this, but that's what's going to happen. when the bad kids finally defect, lord adnau 'sex is when you put one set of genitals into another set of genitals for the purposes of procreation; that's what my text book said' wrengan's legacy is going to be lingering raucous rumors of orgies on the decadent luxury yacht that is the bluebird and there's nothing he can do about it now. he's with 95% likelihood a virgin until someone gets their shit together and zero helps him out with that, and what he's really been doing all this time is drinking caf, falling off roofs, waxing workaholic and composing symphonies for stress relief like a giant nerd, but 'youngest minister to ever spectacularly fall face first out of office (onto his pleasure barge filled with alien babes (feat. hot evil witches and cyborgs))' is going to be how he goes down in history whether he likes it or not.

in some deep way this does feel very fitting and deserved. I hope the team never stops ribbing him about it.
