Why did this copaganda show have one of the vv VERY few scenes where the white friend of a Black Woman just openly and genuinely comforts her Black friend?

Like...there was no redirect, no 'we've all been there', not even a 'you're so strong, let's get over this pain'. Just...she listened and she comforted and she provided a literal shoulder to cry on.
