7 weeks, 12 authors, and 56 drabbles later, we’ve reached the end of AELDWS 2020! Thank you so much to the writers for their commitment and hard work, and to everyone who read, voted, and commented. If it wasn’t for you, AELDWS could not go on.
The prompt this week was:
Prompt: Time Will Tell
Genre: Backstory
Word count: Between 225 and 250 words
And now, without further ado:
Third place goes to @stormofsharpthings, who wrote ‘Endgame’.
In second place we have @rudimentaryflair, who wrote ‘Stand by’.
Which means…
The winner of AELDWS 2020 is @deinvatiwrites, with ‘Lycra’s Great for Job Interviews’. Congratulations!!!!!!
Comments are being e-mailed out now to authors and I will be in touch with the winners about prizes!
Thank you to everyone who wrote, read, voted, commented, reblogged, and beta’d for this year’s challenge! It’s been a blast and we’ll see you next year!

Congratulations to our 6 participants for completing their drabbles and many thanks to everyone who read, voted, and commented this week! We had one participant unable to complete the challenge, so there will only be one elimination.
First Place is once again a tie, with @queuebird, who wrote ‘Bound’ and @deinvatiwrites, who wrote ‘Forging is Not a Hobby’ sharing the top spot!
Unfortunately, this week we must say goodbye to @glasspunkart, who wrote 'Stockholm syndrome’. Thank you for all your hard work!
