What fo you do when you receive hate?

I’ve been fortunate enough to never get huge waves of hate, but the key to dealing with getting hate online is having your own self control

It’s like compulsive when you get hate you have to reply to prove them wrong, but in my experience it’s honestly best to just ignore, mute, delete, etc and move on. Now of days I don’t even spend long on posts, I may reply to comments for about an hour but nothing more, I made it an unspoken rule to myself I leave after that.

Feverishly checking your socials to see if you got any hate can be all consuming, so it’s best not to feed that urge at all. It’s hard at first, and you’ll have to grow the habit but in the end it’s the most satisfying results!
