the dependification of Knuckles’ daughter, now named Lustre :P

typically i don’t like it when people try to reinterpret love interests as relatives even when i don’t like the relationship involved, but since Julie-Su is already both Knuckles’ love interest and also his cousin (albeit distant cousin) i’ve decided to decomposite her role.

so Julie is now cousinzoned and maintains an entirely platonic relationship with Knuckles while Shade, who was narratively inspired by Julie but unrelated to Knuckles, is the mother of his child instead.
