Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has announced the India Rankings for all the categories today, August 12, 2024. The NIRF ranking 2024 lists will be available on the NIRF's official website, nirfindia.org. The announcement event was held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Minister of State for Education Sukanto Majumdar along with other dignetaries was also present at the event.

The NIRF rankings lists have been released for 16 different categories. Three new categories- state universities, skill universities and open universities have been added this year.
