World Aids Day I had committed myself to my involvements in pageantry since the 80s after several dear friends of mine had passed away due to complications with AIDS. One in particular taught me so much about pageantry from production, choreography, coaching and styling contestants, etc. He was such a huge force in pageantry. After his passing, I had made a personal commitment for all the knowledge I had learned in pageantry back in the day, it was a realization that the knowledge I learned was not for mine to have but for mine to share. Yesterday it was Elizabeth Taylor’s AIDS charity at Mark Zunino Atelier store on Robertson. Mark is a note able designer. So there was fashion and the older glamour set. Koan Collins and Morgan Fairchild were in attendance along with George Hamilton. They were sun bathed and wealthy.
