longest reigning divas champion. that had such a nice ring to it because whether nikki was wrestling or she wasn't, that was something that would always be true till this day. till someone was able to beat her record just like she was able to beat aj lee's. she had heard it all. she had dealt with bullies her whole life that constantly put her down. and then there were the divas who accused her of only being champion or being fit to be in the wwe because of her looks or because of the man she was with. but that wasn't it at all. she was fearless. fearless was something that she wore. she paved her own way, she paid her own bills and she is the true definition of a women's wrestler. but of course there would always be the one person who would try to bring her down and in this case it was the former diva, the former diva's champion and the former longest reigning champion because nicole bella had beaten her to the punch. of course being aj she wasn't able to deal with it and started talking. it didn't make sense to be bringing up this again because it was done. nikki was the longest reigning divas champion and not even aj lee could take that away from her. nikki knew aj was going to be at the raw event because punk was there and so she decided to make an appearance but one that nobody knew about. she didn't want to make this about her. she just wanted to have a one on one conversation with the other female. walking backstage and greeting all the people that made her wrestling experience a special one, she spotted aj. it wasn't hard to even find her especially because of how small she was. she walked in her direction and hoped to get whatever this was over with. ❝ well, i'm here. longest reigning divas champion in your midst. whether you love it or you hate it. in your case, i'm guessing you are hating it. ❞
