The youngest Westergaard NEVER believed in love ; honestly he wasn’t even sure he was capable of it. After all, he never knew love from even his own family, despite how extensive it was. Any and all relationships he’s ever formed was purely out of PURPOSE ; intent. He knew his father always wanted him to marry someone that could bring something to the table. After all, they were only a small kingdom. They needed to do everything and anything to gain more power and control. Which meant that whatever possible marriage partners he had his eyes on, or that his father or brothers had set up for him would bring him just that. “Loving is probably hundreds and thousands of times more difficult than breaking up.” Not that he’d really know, he wasn’t sure he’d ever loved anyone in his entire life. But perhaps, there was a small part of him that thought he COULD love Angelique, if he let himself. He just wasn’t sure if that was what he wanted. To truly open up his heart and let that happen.
