“it’s not any of ours,” he affirms, nodding sadly, “we weren’t meant to be together in the first place. an associate with the abyss, and a knight of favonius? it was always going to lead to tragedy.”

“i enjoyed the moments we had,” you whisper, caressing his face with the little strength you had, “and… even if you held those secrets from the past… from khaenri'ah—”

“you— you know about—?” he drops you, a thud ringing throughout the silent domain you both were situated in. in retaliation, you cough up various amounts of blood, squinting your eyes in pain.

kaeya’s face goes dark with an unknown emotion, he grips the edge of his shirt with such force that you thought that he was going to rip it.

“i can’t— i’m… sorry.” did you even know of all the suffering he had been through? the conflict of emotion? him questioning his indubitable loyalty? why must you… why didn’t you… he could’ve gotten the answers—

“goodbye.” he interrupts his own thoughts with a simple farewell, refusing to look back at your blood-stained body. a sigh escapes your lips, as you close your eyes, refusing to cry in your last moments.

“i’m sorry,” you apologise once more, watching him leave you alone in the abyss to pass on.

at first, it’ll just be you two laying in bed looking at each other while talking about how your guys’ day went

Then, you two start to talk about funny stuff and just have probably an hour of telling jokes and laughing

After that, Kaeya will probably transition into a flirty segway and you both just hopelessly flirty with each other for a bit

And nearing the end, you both start to actually cuddle each other whispering on how much you love one another (with a few flirts and jokes here and there)
