"Where'd you get the costumes?" Nicky asks, in a clear deflection.

"You don't like?" Alex asks.

"I didn't say that," Nicky says. He looks down at himself almost in surprise, like he's just now realizing he's also dressed up. He fingers the materials of his own collar and tugs at the buttons of the shirt, buttoning it up one button closer to his throat—Alex makes a noise of protest—and then unbuttoning it again. "It's better than I thought," he adds grudgingly as he smoothes his hands down the vest he's wearing, and takes a step closer to Alex. Despite the inspection of his own clothes, he's mostly been staring at Alex, which Alex chooses to interpret as a good thing. He pokes one of the gold bangles around Alex's bicep. "You didn't get them at the Spirit Halloween. So where?"

"What, you don't think I look good?" he asks and strikes a pose, putting one foot up on the bed and hands on his hips for good measure. The maroon loincloth material swishes and drapes satisfyingly. A lot of the jewelry is actual gold, or plated. The leather boots are just out of the box new, so Alex doesn't think wearing them on the bed will hurt anything. Alex hadn't bothered with a wig because that would have turned it into too much of a parody, but he hadn't seen any problem in doing a little bit—well, a lot, but once he got started it was weirdly satisfying—manscaping for optimal presentation. The metal bikini top thing is more of a chest plate than a bra, which is fine, given that he doesn't have tits. The air conditioning and the metal makes it a bit of a trial for his nipples, but in an enjoyable way.

Nicky swallows nearly imperceptibly and he's already been betrayed by the rising flush on his face, so yeah, Alex knows the costume he's wearing is doing it for Nicky. So it's something else.

"Plus, you look good," Alex adds. Nicky always looks good, but the pants are showcasing his ass perfectly, and Alex timed this down to the minute, springing the costumes on him exactly twenty minutes after his shower, and his hair is at optimal, tousled roguishness.

"I didn't know you were into Star Wars," Nicky says.

"I've never seen them," Alex says cheerfully, and there, that's it, Nicky's expression does an immediate thing, and it's similar enough to the one where someone loses coverage on the penalty kill that Alex hastily adds, "I mean, you know, all of them, like, in order. So many. We don't have VHS for some. But I like them. You remember when I do that charity thing? I see all the characters then."

Nicky looks even more appalled, if such a thing is possible.

(We go on for like five more pages where Ovi keeps trying to get dicked down but Nicky's deal is accuracy, as he does not think Leia would be willing to dress in the slave bikini to seduce Han, nor would Han request her to, and Han was the one getting rescued and not rescuing Leia, and eventually Ovi is like, look, did you want to be Luke or something instead, and that sets Nicky off even more about it.)

the FACT that SF6 doesn't have any SF3 characters despite being after it in the timeline is a real shame. the game is amazing but (as much as I hate DLC conceptually) I really want a SF3 fighters pass to happen after this season of DLC is over. my picks are absolutely Alex, Elena, Dudley, and Makoto. I want Sean too but he just ended up being 5th on my list.

here's my argument:

id: a gif of Alex. He is a big big muscle man. A white new yorker in his 20s with long hair, a headband, military style pants, fingerless gloves, and absolutely no shirt. end id.

Alex is the poster boy for SF3 but he is also a grappler which I think SF6 could use another of after all the season 1 characters are in the game. right now it's just Zangief and Manon and some would say thats enough but I'm biased cause I like grapplers.

id: a gif of Elena. she is a young black kenyan woman with short hair. she is more or less just wearing a bikini but to me that doesn't register in a sexual way. she is also wearing various colored bangles on her neck, arms, and legs. notably, she is doing an awesome idle animation where she dances back and forth like she is preparing to dodge and weave any attacks. end id.

Elena is just amazing. Do I even need to explain why she deserves the spot? Capoeria is a really cool inspiration for a fighter and another black woman in the SF6 cast would be great!

Dudley is maybe my favorite character in the SF3 cast. something about his whole vibe and attitude. sure, SF6 will have a boxer in the form of Ed but he represents a dirty boxer. He was trained by Balrog after all. Meanwhile Dudley is a very clean and honorable boxer and that creates a very interesting dynamic between the two. You can argue against having 2 boxers but how many shotos do we already have? you can deal.

id: a gif of makoto. she is a young japanese martial artist. she wears a Gi with a black belt and a long yellow scarf that flows behind her. she has short scruffy hair, giving off a tomboy look. she has a focused wide stance, preparing for any attack her opponent might throw. end id.

Makoto is maybe The standout character from SF6. She has an extremely unique and scary fighting style that would fit really well with SF6's universal mechanics. she is a fan favorite and I just like her a lot. plus we could see her a little older and more trained which would give her not only a cool redesign but a great story and gameplay opportunity. I mean come on, everyone wants Makoto.

BIOGRAPHY / HEADCANONS.

───  ➤ elias grew up in small town in new mexico with a lot of dreams for a kid who’s population was dismal, they’re one of four boys, the second oldest and probably the biggest disappointment if you were to ask his parents of list of accomplishments. while his older brother was the golden child elias seemed to struggle when it came to school, not one to be afraid to throw a fist or say a few choice words, he was always getting in trouble. 

───  ➤ his parents were strict on their kids and elias was seventeen when he got emancipated, and lived with his best friend at the time. he had contact with his brothers though because of his parents it was a very complicated relationship and the most surprising twist of it all was his older brother being the one to reach out to him when he found out what happened. 

───  ➤ his brother had helped him under the table financially with stuff, especially when it came to going to college elias knowing that he could never prosper here and needed to get out and leave the state and start somewhere new. there was a bond between the two of being the eldest, the pressure their family put on them on top of the generational trauma of their parents before them was too much and their brother knew that all too well and elias still swears that one day they’ll pay their brother back for everything he’s given him. 

───  ➤ he’s currently the only family member that he keeps in contact with though now his brother has created a family of his own and they’re very happy and elias just used to bring a lot of bad shit into everyone’s lives (his mother often telling him that he was cursed, though he would never take this to heart until much later) 

───  ➤ after a lot of poor decisions as a young adult elias reached rock bottom and got his shit together and got accepted to an out of state school and finally started to thrive. they knew that if they ever wanted to see a better ending then they needed to stick with it. 

───  ➤ keeping this part about their partner brief since i haven’t plotted with them yet but he met the love of his life and they fell in love and had their daughter natalia and moved to deadwood to be closer to his partners family (as stated in the wc) 

───  ➤ when natalia went missing it was probably the worst part of his life considering how he thought natalia was the one to break the curse that he thought he had hanging over his head. she was everything that was good and kind, empathetic and open to anything and everyone, and he doesn’t know if this is what made her a target for her to disappear but elias pretty much went back in terms of his progress, became someone very unrecognisable and grief stricken and did just about anything that he could to find natty. 

───  ➤ their brother worried about them so much so that he came down to help make sense of it all but eventually elias had thrown him out because that’s what happens when someone tries to help elias he snaps because he’s never really coped well to begin with. he’s still strained with his brother to this day and desperately wants to fix that relationship but doesn’t know how to he’s said things that he regrets out of rage) 

───  ➤ when natalia came back, she came back…. different. elias had once written in his journal that it was like his kid was a haunted house. a ghost of who she used to be, even if there are sometimes when she comes back and he doesn’t even get to enjoy it while it’s happening because he’s too busy trying to understand where she went. she sleep walks, he once found her in the forest during one of his shifts which fucking terrified him. she sees things and understands (even if they don’t), a lot of stuff that their daughter says matches a lot of the folklore of the town and he’s been tempted to take her and move them out but he knows that whatever happened to his kid is still happening to people in this town and now he wants to figure out the why. 

───  ➤  he’s a park ranger still even after natalia, strange things have been happening lately and he’s not even close to understanding them but he wants to so no one else has to go through the grief like he did. 

───  ➤ they might have seen something in the forest. but they’ll deny it.
