1. My favourite retro gymnast from that time period is probably Olga Korbut; I won’t link a video because they are #iconic

I think my favourite of this time was Olesya Dudnik, especially her *incredible* beam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G98YgLE6NP8 (except for the dismount here, but it was a triple twist in 1989!!!)Do late 90s count?
