Cantuta - A Little Rain Oracle
The Cantua flower is a bright fuchsia and coral ombre found deep within the Andes mountains in South America. Being the national flower of Peru, the flower has deep roots in Andean history and is called the holy flower of the Incas. During the Inca Empire, the queens are rumoured to have slept with the flowers by their side to bring abundance, food, and water.
This flower is also linked to the Inca legend of two prosperous, rival kings, Illimani and Illampu. After injuring each other in war, the two men passed their animosity onto their respective sons who in turn fought unwillingly to their own deaths just as their fathers had done before them. Instead of carrying the feud into the next generation and damning their own heirs to the same end, the sons forgave the feud and died as friends. Their graves were built together as a symbol of unity in the area, and as a reminder that bad blood only ends when you refuse to let it fester.

Ratchaphruek - A Little Rain Oracle
Ratchaphruek is Thailand’s national flower and it has many names across the world; Golden Shower Tree, Amaltas, Vishu Konnai or Purging Cassia etc. Besides being known as the royal tree in Thailand, it is also known as “Dok Khoon”, fabled to multiply good luck and prosperity to those that were gifted this flower as “Khoon” means to multiply. In Laos, people use these cascading flowers as religious offerings and hang them in their homes around New Year to attract good luck and goodwill toward the family. The pulp from the fruit is used in herbal medicine to help digestion and can even counter issues like acid reflux.

Tayabak - A Little Rain Oracle
Tayabak, also known as Jade Vines, are native to the Philippines and sport the most gorgeous teal-colored, flowering vines. This beautiful bloom is surprisingly part of the pea and bean family and they are pollinated by bats. The flowers get their iconic colour from pigments that rely on the environment for activation. In alkaline soil, the plant produces a solid dose of yellow that turns the flowers teal. Although they’re marvelled at for their distinct colour and shape, the plant is threatened due to deforestation in the country. Available for Pre-Order Now

A Little Rain Oracle - Jellyfish Tree
The name of the jellyfish tree is a flower that truly is as unique as its name implies. Originally called Medusagyne — named after Medusa from Greek mythology – they’re characterised by multiple thin tentacles which cannot germinate in the wild.
They’re one of the few plant species that host flowers that are male and bisexual, and their flowers develop a deeper red colour with age, showing their tenacity like a badge of honour even as their population declines as a whole.
For a while, it was even thought to be extinct until, after a long disappearance, the jellyfish tree reappeared in its native land, Seychelles. The jellyfish tree is an excellent example of surviving against all odds.
