Very kind, will die OR kill for you after 5 minutes of knowing you. Always wants to help, but VERY volatile and one of the few spiderpeople who'll legit kill.

Bit by radioactive jumping spider- the peacock ones with all the colors (it's set up for the sick suit, leave me alone)

Suit: Iridescent blue-green, more blue at the top, green to feet. Chrome web pattern, iridescent red/purple spider emblem on chest and back that spreads across, joining in the webbing details of the suit. Has the typical spider eyeplates but the lower half is a skull, the teeth, jaw, etc. Has hints of yellow striping around his joints.

Powers: Advanced strength, gravity altering, telekinesis, phasing through objects, makes his own webs, spidey sense (duh), climbs walls, ceilings, etc., heightened hearing and reflexes.

The skull motif is brought on by his backstory- he was bitten while he was dying, so he's stuck in this Danny Phantom/The Crow limbo of being a superhuman half dead guy. He can float somewhat and has very mild telekinetic powers- can move small objects, etc. The more he tries the larger the object, but the bigger the toll it takes. He can also phase through things like doors and windows, thin walls. Too thick though and he rams straight into it.

Not sure if he's aging or not, since he can't see himself but he doesn't feel like it, or at the very least it's happening incredibly slowly. He "died" in 1997 at 18, and just now in 2023 he's hitting 22-ISH. So he just kind of shrugs his shoulders and moves on.

Downside to this? He's completely invisible. He can make himself be seen for very short spurts of time, but his relaxed, natural state is completely transparent. You can still feel and hear him like a normal person, and he still casts shadows. This includes his hair, anything he eats/puts in his mouth. Does not include clothes! So a lot of people just see a pair of pants walking around by themselves.

VISIBLE: Stocky framed, muscular but still a little squishy- like the jumping spider he's small and compact but still capable and a force to be reckoned with! Light brown hair, green eyes, frecks for days, and a gap in his front teeth. Has an unintentionally bad/trendy choppy haircut just because he can't see his hair, he just cuts when it FEELS long.

Along those lines, he has similar ghosty/vampiric workings- can't be seen in photographs, mirrors, reflections overall. His body is markedly cooler than that of a normal living person and he no longer has a heartbeat. Because of that he prefers cooler temps and is sensitive to the heat. He still eats and drinks normal things ofc.

Jack's style is very second-hand grunge but light. Think Kurt Cobain meets cottagecore. He likes his flannels and ripped jeans and cropped shirts but also his blouses and mom jeans and whatever else he can buy for $5 that feels good. Has a few ear piercings and stretched lobes, his labret is also pierced! Nowhere near as plentiful and cool as Hobie, but he's working on it!

LOVES music. All kinds. Everything from Cher to Bowie to Elton John, The Clash, Bell Biv DeVoe, Beastie Boys. Then he really likes his heavy edgy modern music- BadFlower, Bad Omens, Sleep Token. Also Tally Hall/Miracle Musical, Amanda Palmer, Will Wood, all kinds. More often than not people will see a pair of floating headphones just jamming out.

Gets away with going out in public and a WFH tech job with sclera contacts, water proof makeup, sunglasses, a wig, face masks and gloves. If people ask, Jack tells them he has an "all encompassing skin dandruff/dust allergy and severe asthma." Usually people feel so bad- or don't want the details- for asking and they leave him alone.
