It was announced that morning that their cousin was going to stay with them. A girl that she had only met one time when he was a child. He didn't understand what his brothers attraction to girls were until he laid his eyes on her and a small crush began to form, before she left Kings Landing they shared a kiss. His first ever kiss and now the one he shared it with will be coming to live with them.

He wondered what she looked like and what she would think of him now. He had changed alot since he was that small shy boy. He now towered over all his siblings and had made a name for himself. He was still single, though he did sleep around every now and then when he needed a release but he didn't want to be held back by having a wife.

The family had gathered in the throne room and waited. Their ship had pulled in and now they were waiting for the women to be escorted in. He stood behind his siblings and watched as the door opened. No emotions passed over his face as he saw her for the first time. She was a beauty, that much was certain so it surprised him she had yet to wed.

He listen to his parents talk to her, welcoming her in before his mother called out to him to show her to her chambers.

"Of course mother." He said as he stepped around and to the girl that was his first crush.

"it's good to see you again Lynesse, may I show you to your room?" He asked and held out his arm as a gentleman would for her to take.

It had been a few days since Aenar had heard the news of Aemma's passing. Though he had been away for years he always did like the women his older brother married. He decided to head home to Kings Landing and pay his respect.

He flew high on Throvi as the the large town came into view. The clouds had hidden them for this long but soon they began to descend, doing a fly over before heading towards the Dragon Dens.

Once they landed, the youngest of the brothers jumped off the white dragon and gave him a gentle pat before leaving the den and heading towards the keep.

Judith stared down at her hands as they shook. Her whole body was shaking at this point and she didn't know how to stop it. Hot tears streamed down her cheeks, staining them as she cried. She could not stop the tears either. They flowed from her eyes and fell from her cheeks. She wish she could stop them. She wanted nothing more than for the tears and the shaking of her body to stop. She felt every sob that escaped her lips in every bone of her body.

sorrow wrenches within his heart, as he sights her unquenchable anguish.

he had travelled back in time to visit wessex to reunite with judith, after tuning in steady—christ goodness, no—struggled ascension from butchery by floki’s hand.

he remembered she had showed sweetness to him upon even first acquaintance in past life, wishing him and his fellow vikings well, and kissing his hand. he had been surprised she had sought him out of all people, compared him to Christ !! unagreed it was, but rude perhaps to keep inflicting such truth.

now in present he had hinted who he was, quite accidental, actually, now in vessel unrecognised by her. during their polite initial re-acquaintance (well to judith, he was mere …hmm, what had she thought this strange man indicated?). maybe a mere traveller or translator, for that was what he had stated he was to gain gated entrance to wessex kingdom.

he had quietly touched some creation of hers laying around, tracing the shape of cross captured within, and spoke, ‘this is very beautiful, my lady. as without the word of god, there is only darkness.’

he had not meant to make her start and tremor so. his heart shatters at seeing her worn and shaken, as she mere should be blessed with inner self peace. he had thought her as the character in the book of judith chaptered in bible ;; trudging bravely through such prejudice.

he gingerly takes her hand. continuous temperature of tears caused his own hand to redden in warmth, but no matter. hoping surely it wasn’t inappropriate to do so—not quite sure if she was crying because of his foolish utterance, or for some other reason.

he squeezes his hold on her hand slightly more to hopefully instil resilience within her. beautiful solitude from speech was perhaps best as of now. the compass radio was tossed to sea permanently in technicality — to make room for love is an ocean heart wide.

Lydia walked up to Stiles, her hand lifting to his forehead. “Are you ok?” She asked him, concern in her eyes as she looked up at the tall male. 

Her voice was a little raw from the banshee scream, but right now, her concern was completely on him. 

Her fingers lightly brushed his forehead, she was sure he was going to form a bruise, but that was the least of her concerns right now. 

“Stiles... are you ok?” She repeated, her hand moving down to his cheek, cupping it lightly.

Ella sipped at her wine as she watched the party go on as they celebrated a new year that hadn’t even started yet. There was dancing and laughing, talking and games around the house and outside. She was at a past patient’s house, having been in the area, extended an offer for a few night’s stay and an invite to tonight. 

It wasn’t her scene if she were honest, but she didn’t want to be rude to those hosting her. She saw a young woman who seemed to be looking her way, so she offered a slight smile as she raised her glass in greeting, wondering if the woman was just curious about who she was or if she knew who she was and wanted to request something from her, she’d have to wait and see if she decided to make her way over.

Seraphina hummed softly as she ground the herbs with the pestle, grinding them into a paste as she added a little liquid to the mixture.

She turned to face the injured man, still humming a tune to herself, when she noticed movement.

“My Lord, you need to lay still.” She said softly, kneeling beside the cot he was laying in. “Your wounds look infected, and if you move too much, you could do more damage.” She said calmly. She lift the bandages that were wrapped around his chest, and dipped a cloth into the mixture.

“This will hurt My Lord, but I need you to stay still. This will help draw out any infection, and once that begins to heal, I can stitch your wound.” She said, her eyes lifting to his, as she applied the poultice.
