Achtung, jetzt wird ein kleines bisschen medizinisch.  🧠 Bei ALS erkranken die sogenannten Motoneuronen. Die sitzen an zwei Stellen im Körper. ▪️ Das Motoneuron in der Hirnrinde löst bewusst einen Bewegungsimpuls aus. Wenn wir beispielsweise unsere Hand bewegen wollen, startet der ganze Vorgang hier mit einem Impuls. Von der Hirnrinde aus wird die Information weitergeleitet ins ... ▪️ .... Rückenmark, wo das zweite Motoneuron sitzt. Es ist dafür zuständig, den Impuls an den gewünschten Muskel zu übermitteln. Die Folge von ALS und den erkrankten Motoneuronen ist, dass diese Impulse nicht mehr weitergeleitet werden. Die Muskeln werden also nicht mehr gefordert, dadurch werden sie zunehmend schwächer und schrumpfen.* Der Körper wird nach und nach gelähmt. 👉🏻 Falls euch das Ganze noch genauer interessiert: Was ALS ist, wird auf dem Youtube-Kanal der ALS-Ambulanz der Charité nochmal ausführlich und gut erklärt (https://is.gd/vaeeuX). In Deutschland wird ALS übrigens jährlich etwa bei 2.000 Menschen neu diagnostiziert.* Laut Informationen der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Muskelkranke treten die meisten Erkrankungen zwischen dem 50. und 70. Lebensjahr auf, wobei Männer etwas häufiger betroffen sind als Frauen - das Verhältnis liegt bei 1,5:1. Die Lebenserwartung liegt bei ALS im Mittel bei etwa drei bis vier Jahren. ** Soweit die Theorie. Wir sprechen in dieser Woche noch über und mit zwei Menschen, die aus dieser Statistik rausfallen: Über Oliver, der relativ jung erkrankt war und mit Bibi @bibi_wheelchair_traveller, die ihre ALS-Diagnose als junge Frau bekommen hat und bereits seit 16 Jahren mit ALS lebt. Von beiden werden wir in dieser Woche noch etwas hören und sehen! Life #1

Well hi, here’s my first ever entry- i have been on tumblr for god knows how long and i’ve never not even once posted about my daily life, at least not here. I created my first tumblr probably when i was 12 and boy was i excited- i uploaded quite a lot of photos, of myself, friends, family and even my crush. So embarrassing, i tell you. Then i made another one dedicated for my favorite kpop groups and i might have forgotten the password of the account. Fast forward to 2016, i created this one, my latest account on tumblr. This is not really an important thing, i just wanted to post something cause i’m bored as fuck and yeah solely because of that.
