My RWDE post of the day is that if RWB really were tired and had to perform life saving surgery on Nora they could’ve just told May that, and the only reason May got so aggressive with her “What side are you on?” comment is that her original assertion that Atlas can defend itself well enough and Mantle needs them is a completely airtight statement that Ruby can’t argue against, so the writers did what they always do: they made RWBY’s opposition more aggressive and unreasonable than necessary so RWBY looks better by comparison.
