some random agere thoughts for house md, since i never see enough of them (this is about age regression as a coping mechanism for stress/trauma, NOT ageplay. dni k!nk c/glre etc)

-caregiver wilson 100% (house says he eats neediness, it fits)

-flip house (but prob doesn’t like to regress), he n wilson look after the ducklings when one or more of them is smol. if he ever does have moments where he regresses involuntarily n cant control it, the only person allowed around is wilson

-of the main 6 ducklings, i hc that chase, cameron, and 13 all regress in some form or another; foreman is a flip and probably represses it a lot. i can also see kutner as a flip! sometimes its very healing for him to be taking care of someone, sometimes its healing for him to be taken care of. and taub is a caregiver.

-i bet cameron goes by “allie” when she’s little; for little chase, i think either robbie or just ‘chase’ would both be a-okay! 13 is probably still 13 but gets called ‘remy’ by the grown ups if she’s in trouble or not listening

-kutner would be a perfect babysitter for any of the smol ducklings if he’s big at the time!!

About the hair:

Anti has floofy dark green hair at the top and short brown at the sides- cannot convince me otherwise- lil bean also has so many piercings that he loses track of them sometimes (and is looking for *more*) headcanon Anti is also a demon king and has a glitchy crown sometimes- (is most chaotic of Dark, Anti and Mare)

Chase- he canonically has the blonde at first but i headcanon him to have grown it out a little (the way Seán has his hair now, maybe a little shorter) with the blonde/yellow as what looks like a very natrual dip dye

Shneep woul have natrual hair- cannot convince me otherwise- and very well kept up until he got possessed by Anti (i still refuse to believe Anti is evil- its Marvin- you cannot convince me otherwise) then he let it go a little and grew it into a smol manbun with like maybe two blue streaks (similar to the Dr Strange in the beginning of Multiverse of Madness but blue instead of silvery grey)

JJ would keep himself well kept and keep his hair either slick back and short (but not in the slimy guy way) or in short and either left or right parted depending on how he woke up

Marvin.... has cat ears- cannot convince me otherwise- but he keeps them hidden with magic because it "doesn't fit the vibe" he instead has greasy and raggedy hair like a mad scientist (the old guy from Back to the Future vibes (cannot remember his name sorry) like he'd just been tinkering with electronics and had zapped his hair lol) he usually fixes it with Magic or makes it more dramatic has a turquoise streak in the middle all the way from the centre of the forehead down to the base of the hair, where the last maybe inch of his hair is the same colour?

Jackaboyman would have similar to Anti but less floofy and dyed Red instead of Green, because he whole heartedly believes Marvin's lies about Anti being evil (he isnt 🥲) and impulsively dyed his hair red after losing a bet to Shneep about who would win Plague Inc (Shneep won because he knew what everything did with his degree)

Robbie (ik he aint cannon but i wanted to put him in) would have bloodied purple hair- like in the thumbnail he came from, but more bloodied, his hair doesnt grow anymore since infection and i headcanon he was infected on the day he got the hair dye done so its lretty bright, the blood has dried and matted all over the place so his hair is in several clumps, partially matted but not a full knot- Shneep and Marvin were able to remove some of his Zombie nature so hes more like when a human is scratched instead- they retain human thinking but still be able to infect people and need to eat brains- I am Zombie rules i think-

Hi! What aspects of what we know about the prequel draw you to watch it? I am looking for a silver line in it that would motivate me to watch it because, as of now, I am very wary of the prequel. John and Mary as lead characters along with the final of SPN (heaven ending and they promised canon compliance) is not making me excited. This is not to rain on your parade, I am just looking for a better perspective! Robbie is a bonus but I'm a Casgirl and the prospect of Cas being in it seems dicey :(

Hi hi! I'm happy to help if I can, but I only know as much as any of us still, so I don't know how accurate some of this will be as we begin getting more information. But this is what I know:

-This will be set in the early 1970's. We'll learn more about Mary and her family, which honestly I've wanted to learn more about since 4.03, you know? She was raised hunting and was desperate to get out and live normal, but was clearly a competent and knowledgeable hunter. I would LOVE to know more about her and her family.

-we know it will incorporate the "love story" of John and Mary, and that as you pointed out, it will be canon compliant

-which means they will have to at least acknowledge what the cupid in 5.14 said about how difficult a match the two of them were to make... I am FASCINATED by what Heaven's involvement in their lives was before the events of 4.03.

-this was also the era during which John was in the Marine Corps. He fought in Vietnam. I'm super curious about whether he was protected in some way by having this "destiny" to father the fated vessels, and how that may have influenced his life in general.

-we might get more information about the state of Heaven/angels and Hell/demons prior to the beginning of the run up to the apocalypse. will there be shady stuff revealed about the goings-on there, or are they going to stick more to the mundane/normal hunter life of John and Mary? We just don't know, but this is something that I hope they do choose to explore a little bit.

-I don't know that this will have anything to do with the ending of the original Supernatural series. Unless it's stated up front that Dean is narrating this entire thing *from Heaven,* then I don't know how it would have any bearing on this series.

-I don't know that Cas *won't* ever be a character in this series, but it's not something I'm counting on, you know? He existed in that universe at the time the events will be taking place, but as far as we know outside of taking Dean back to 1973 to "stop it" in 4.03, he wasn't really involved in that era of events on Earth. Of course, he was able to time travel when he had his wings, but also he could've taken another vessel back at that time and interfered with things based on Heaven's orders (and if they were dead set on Cas looking like our Cas, they could present his vessel as Jimmy's father/Uncle/other ancestor and still use Misha as the actor... not saying that WILL happen, but that it COULD, but also i'm going into this not really expecting to see Cas at all, so any Cas we do see would feel like a bonus).

-Robbie Thompson. He's a treasure. He *cares* about canon. He knows the characters, and I trust his writing. He is NOT a John apologist (just the opposite, he has written some scathing critiques of Sam and Dean's childhood... I mean his FIRST episode of the series was Slash Fiction. Please look at his episode list and get a feel for how he sees canon...). And this time, rather than being a staff writer, he's running the show. That alone makes me eager to watch.

-Chaos Machine. A production company run by #1 Dean Stan Jensen Ackles, and #1 Cas Girl Danneel Ackles. But also a company whose first big hire was Renee Reiff, one of the founders of Out In Hollywood, and now the head of development. I'm...really not sure that any of these people are gonna side with folks that loved the series finale and thought it was perfect and a good ending for the characters... how people have gotten that impression from any of this, I just don't know. But I do not think this series is gonna be more of THAT.

-Based on the timing of everything, Jensen likely was in negotiations with WB for the rights to produce programming under the Supernatural banner before the original series was even done filming. We know he was Not A Fan of the ending, and that he has spoken diplomatically and carefully about it for the most part, but his discomfort with the ending is pretty clear. Not many people start a whole entire production company with a long game of eventually making a follow up to the original series.

-in the mean time, Jensen and Danneel are setting out to prove the SPN universe is in good hands. Because there ARE other stories in that universe I would love to hear. Not only Mary's story (because I am REALLY interested in seeing how she grew up and how Dean as narrator relates to that experience), but there are other stories in that universe that would be worth hearing too. The chances of them being able to TELL us those stories likely rest on the success of the Winchesters-- yes, even the potential for them EVER to be able to make an actual 15.20 redux, or a continuation of the original series at all, likely rests on the success of their first venture.

This is a thoughtful, creative bunch of people who WANT DESPERATELY to tell us more stories in the Supernatural Universe.

There are people who obviously will not care to watch, which is fine and good, but literally we do not know any more than what I stated above, and some of that is even speculation and guessing. I'm just exhausted by people who already believe they know what this show will be about and have decided to pre-hate it for their convenience.

Some parts of this fandom are just so fucking exhausting.

Will we love it? WHO KNOWS?! IT IS A MYSTERY! We don't even know who will be cast as Mary and John-- or anyone else in the series! We just do not know what the story is yet! Can we at least wait until then to decide to love or hate it?!

I'd love to at least give Jensen, Danneel, and Robbie the benefit of the doubt here...

I had the weirdest dream last night about smuggling my (very male) cat and his baby kitten into a comic con except I had to go to class, so I ambushed Robbie and Justin and asked them to watch my cats for me and when I came back we sat at a booth and just had a nice chat, where at the end I said something about fucking off once anyone else showed up and they were very concerned about my poor self esteem.

One of my few nice weird dreams.

okay @thiievesandbeggars challenged me to write up some school/young modern jack hcs so here i am:

for the first couple of years of ‘school education’ (brits start school aged 4/5), jack was home-schooled by his mum. after her death he was thrown into the education system without much warning. it was a difficult transition for jack but everything that happened after her death was a big transition and that’s trauma that he’s never really dealt with. he blocks a lot of it out.

attending a british comprehensive school in brixton, south london, means that jack has to wear a school uniform and he hates it. he’s not a student who is often in a lot of trouble ( i know it’s a surprise but smol jack is a good boy and he genuinely wants to learn when he cares about the subject lmao ) however his refusal to/inability to wear his school uniform correctly ( wearing his tie loose, refusing to wear his blazer, trying to personalise his blazer by putting badges all over it lmao ) does consistently get him reprimanded by his teachers. detention for jack is 90% uniform based and 10% due to his smart mouth which he tends to wield against other students and will occasionally end up with his ass getting kicked in fights. 

he never starts a fight, but he provokes them.

but on the whole he is a pretty good student. he can coast along with good grades for most subjects but he’s very good at the ones he actually applies himself to: english lit ( this boy loves reading ), history, science and music are his particular passions. his grades only start to slide in his last couple of years at school as he gets more and more involved with christophe and his gang.

school sports teams aren’t as big a deal in the uk but jack wouldn’t have been a part of any sports teams anyway. he does swim though, and an incident at school where jack steps in to help a fellow student who is struggling in the water endears him to his PE/swimming teacher who fosters his talent and that’s how jack ends up gaining his lifeguard certification shortly before he finishes school

he’s not popular lol. he’s weird, quirky and not cool by school standards. he has one close friend at school and that’s robby greene, who isn’t even in the same year as him. otherwise he’s kinda outcasted but that’s fine by him. his school and tumultuous home life helped him develop a thick skin, and the pendulum would always kinda swing back and forth between whether school or home was the worse place to be ( normally home was always a worse place to be than school ), so jack learned to adapt.

he’s quite popular with girls though. not even necessarily in the sense that he ends up dating them, but he just likes hanging out with girls and finds them easier to get along with. toxic masculinity? not a fan.

christophe was technically jack’s bisexual awakening but before him, watching grease at 15/16 was absolutely his bisexual awakening, i don’t make the rules. but he also did question his sexuality around other boys before christophe ( even if nothing ever came of it ), and he’d been called gay at school but it was really christophe’s influence that showed him bisexuality was a thing.

he had to grow up very quickly at home. teague was not reliable as a parent so jack learned to cook and look after himself at a young age.

he was also kidnapped and held hostage when he was 15 because teague is an irresponsible parent who couldn’t stay away from a life of crime lmao. this was absolutely the trigger point that pushed jack away from teague and indirectly leads to his spiral with christophe in those last couple of years of school. he also took self-defence classes after this

his first job was a saturday job in soho working at a record store, and he used that money to buy his first guitar. he’s also really into cars. some of his happier childhood memories are helping his grandfather out at his garage. jack also had lowkey already been behind the wheel of a car before he officially learned to drive at 17.

as far as his fashion sense goes (and i do really need to make a separate post on this), when he’s younger jack takes a lot of inspiration from 70s bo/wie and j/agger, regardless of the era that i’m actually writing him in. basically anything ja/gger wore in the 70s is something jack would wear lmao. they are big inspirations to him in the way he dresses, and his style gradually matures and becomes more unique to him as he gets older. he likes colour, he likes a certain level of androgyny, he likes jewellery, and he likes layering clothing.

- and so he ~softly~ cupped your cheek in his hand and you looked at him, knowing what was about to happen

- and mentally freaking out and jumping around in your head

- He looked between your lips and then eyes, asking if he could and you nodded yes

- his lips are SO SOFT

- you melted into the kiss, and he was afraid to move his hands anywhere else in fear that you might not like it

- but he soon got the hang of it and his hands roamed your back and sides, soon ending up just making out for awhile

Today was the worst day for a guy like him . Where love is in the air and it seems he's allergic because nobody wants to take an interest in a boy that is nerdy and never seems to know when to shut up . And it didn't help his sad love life when today is spent giving chocolates , stuffed animals , and cheesy cards .

He dread every second of the day as he walked down the school hallway . Every turn he was faced with hormonal teenagers kissing their S.O. He picks up his pace to head to his friends hangout . Which consisted of Sam , Miguel , Robby , Chris , Aisha ,Tory , Mitch , and Eli and himself .

It was an unusual group , Sam and Tory  didn't get along but both were friends with Aisha . Miguel and Robby would bicker and clash with the whole history of love triangle with Sam but they both tried to get along .

Miguel and Robby tried not to fight that often , After all they were being raised by Mr.Lawrence Along side with Mr. Larusso .

Somehow the the dynamic worked . Pulling out his phone as he receives a message from Sam reminding him of the gift for Robby . They all had decided to give something to the blonde , Robby had a rough year . With his mom going to rehab , Sam dating Miguel , and thinking his dad loves Miguel more . He sends her quick telling her he didn't forget .

Robby was gifted cards , candy , stuffed animals , their goal was achevied when the blond had a bashful smile carrying his gifts to each class including Miguels .

It was in his 3rd period , was when he had enough . Thats why once the teacher left he started speaking his distaste.

" Its not fair , why do people like me have to suffer while the rest live high off love . I will never find love , I'm gonna be stuck all alone and watch people live a happy life . I hate this day , i hate valentines day .

Looking at Sam, giving him a sad smile and Miguel giving him a sympathy smile as well.

Lunch was almost over and he was still ranting his hate about Valentine's and he didn't feel bad he was ruining the mood of everyone with their girlfriends and boyfriends.  They had someone , and once he realised Eli was no where to be seen it only made him feel worse . It sucked having feelings for your best friend.

Vibration coming from his phone interuppted his train of thought and speech . A message from Eli ,

Meet me at the computer lab . Asap !!!!!

Arriving , Eli isn't in the room . Maybe the text wasn't for him . Right as he's about to leave he spots a teddy bear as the size of the computers . It hold a heart that said Will You Be Mine .

" So Will You Be Mine " Jumping from hearing Eli , he turns around to face him . He had a raised eyebrow with a smirk waiting for his answer .

" haha , is this for moon ? , let me just say it's cute . she'll probably be happy . "

Looking confused at Demetri,  he thought his feeling was pretty clear for the latter . He took the teasing up a notch , he even told him last week , " he would hit that" when Dem  was going on and on that was going to die a virgin . He loved the blush that appeared on the pale skin . Damn he was simping , If Sensei Lawrence was allowed to simp for Mr . Larusso, he can too .

"   -ou , it's only fair . Guess I am the only one . And I mean who wouldn't want to date moon . She's perfect and pretty , I hope everything turns out well . You and Moon will make a great couple , I guess . I mean I wouldn't  kno- "

Guess He had to Strike First, so that's what Hawk did , he pinned his friend and kissed those lips so  he can shut up .

" If I say yes , Will you manhandle me and kiss me like that again ? Cause the answer is a Yes . "

Laughing at his best frie- well now boyfriend , He kisses Demetri.

Once school finish as the group of friends wait for the two missing boys to arrive . They quickly spot Demetri and Hawk holding hands and kissing each other while holding a teddy bear that somehow had a Mohawk.

" Guess he doesn't hate Valentines Day anymore ! "

what i really mean: you know what breaks my heart? the fact that in season 3, we only got to see robby keene flash that brilliant smile of his twice. TWICE, and in those instances, he was either getting beaten up in jail OR committing a felony--an actual fucking FELONY--just so he would have any friends, despite the fact that he's just gotten out of juvie and is way too brilliant for something as trivial as that. like please just give this smol bb a break in s4, let him come first for a change and give him a girlfriend who won't make him question where he stands in her life or make him do shitty things just to feel "accepted", but also have him acknowlege that he is a good person, he's just been dealt a really shitty hand in life lately
