for non-spaniards, these are the political parties that are candidates in the upcoming elections for the presidency of madrid. the one that i've marked with red is the falange española, the only political party allowed during franco's fascist dictatorship, who previously was a military group that helped franco in his coup that sparked the civil war. yes they're the equivalent to the n*zi party. no they're not banned. in spain no fascist symbols or parties have been banned; freedom of speech is at the core of the constitution (the sixth party on the list is the communist party for example). but yeah. this is an example that sometimes, freedom of speech is actually the worst !!!
