As to your question, yes unfortunately I have had to hide my accent many times growing up (I had moved from Texas to another state--kids can be awful :/) and now when I'm out in public even as an adult I try to subdue it. My friends I made after moving always tended to / still do mimick me from time to time (although it's lovingly,,, it still. Bothers me.)

Having said that, please know if it bothers you too that none of your f/os would ever mimick you!!!!! They wouldn't want to say or do anything that made you feel unsafe in talking the way you naturally are inclined to 🥺 they may tell you to your face, "I like how you say XYZ" tho <3

I'm so, so sorry you've been told country accents are annoying and thus made to feel ashamed or the need to hide yours- country accents are wonderful, they're a fingerprint on humanity's surface just like French and Spanish, all beautiful, all unique and yours ain't no exception!!!!

Yes, a lot of country is somewhat washed out due to commercialism and feels repetitive but there are some deep, emotional, moving country songs that soothe me and I reckon soothe you too and I'm glad we have those songs 😭 I'd be happy to hear any that you personally enjoy and wouldn't mind sharing some if you're interested!

Yes, yes! I do think that Gojou is introspective, but he's just so round about and awkward when it comes to expressing his emotions, pls he's so sad and pathetic (affectionate) (altho! I think this aspect of him makes him very human in a story that emphasizes his power and god-likeness so much, y'know?)

And omg yes! HS Gojou would have been the biggest tsundere!! I completely agree with you there!! Pls he would be all loud and jokey and just an overall menace to you, but inside, his heart is beating like crazy, and his brain cells are fighting for their lives, it takes his all his will power to not combust LOLLL pls he's so ridiculous, I love him 🥺
