current obsession: vishal bhardwaj's omkara (the themes and the parallels and the soundtrack are so <//3 i blame @hanaasbananas completely and am very close to rewatching it), nbc hannibal's themes and parallels etc, song lyrics about fire and deception respectively, and writing queer ships into medieval royalty aus and/or planning out dæmon fics for them

It's been raining for nearly 10 days here, so I am currently listening to summery french songs to lift my spirit: "florence en italie" by yelle, "ma piscine (vas-y danse!)" by la belle vie, "magnolias for ever" by emma peters & leo kodian, and "j'aime les filles" by evergreen. Hopefully they bring u a little sunshine too!

Also, as a side note, you put Destined gifs on my dash and I have been binging it all of last week (am now waiting (im)patiently for the next ep ^^) so thank you again for fantastic cdrama ref ♡♡

omg I'm just now reading this ask and it's a doozie! first, another ask bout rain? love that you mention it, the weather is such an infamous conversation topic but i love getting updates from places far away <3 youve given me french song recs which is amazing but I find it cute since i played zaz (and stromae, I'm basic, sue me) both yesterday and today and so i attempted reading the lyrics. it's so much fun cause you never know where the next lyric is going, you think "well this one just MUST be pronounced like this, considering what I've seen so far it makes sense!" and then it's nothing like what you thought NOR what's written down. there's smth utterly charming about it but I think I enjoy it all because I get to sing some easy parts which repeat hahah, if I didn't have that pleasure i'd probably not enjoy the mindfuckery as much lol
