fionna and cake should have been at least 12 eps though. probably more.
#adventure time#idk it just felt. really fucking fast once the establishing stuff was done with#i think hypothetically if somebody with an absolutely perfect grasp of pacing and storytelling (an impossibility for multiple reasons) had#been making fionna and cake 10 episodes might have cut it. but there is no one like that in all the world#and storytelling is subjective anyway so it's pointless to wonder about#i just think a couple more episodes of leeway might have helped carry it a little more#made a little more space for all the plot threads that needed to get resolved#it felt like hurried along in a way that i think kind of undercut it. that's my biggest complaint#also i can't lie but i actually didn't enjoy the winter king episode that much#it felt like the things it was meant to demonstrate weren't fully followed through on to the extent that I'd have liked
