Ah, yes, talk about Pride and Prejudice

i have never read it or seen any adaptions BUT i HAVE read northanger abbey which is famously the jane austen book that nobody likes. it is also the only work of hers i have read. i thought it was quite fun in a very 19th century british novel kind of way. i’ve also taken a class on 18th century british literature and that made it super interesting in that context because i’ve read all the books that austen read and that she’s alternately perfecting and mocking in that book. so that’s my hot jane austen take i guess northanger abbey is good.
