Ok...this is a weird one

For some reason I can't say if I exactly ship it or not and I think it's because I don't exactly have much to say it if that makes sense. Like in general what happened with those 3 was such a complicated mess that I don't know how to talk about it lmao

I think I'd ship it just cause disaster poly ships are my passion cough songxuexiao cough

But I also don't ship it cause it's hard to pinpoint what exactly makes it for me as a ship. Like if I ship something there's some kind of point or theme I always get drawn back to and for some reason I can't lock it down with 3zun

I guess I'll do I don't ship it for this ask even though I'm not 100% sure

1. Why don't I ship it? Once again, it's really weird. I just don't know how to feel about it yet

2. What would have made me like it? If I could just fucking figure out the dynamic between all 3 of them beyond xichen just trying to bring the best of both of his worlds

Like I can get xiyao and nielan right? I can't figure out what guangyao and mingjue got beyond sexual tension for some reason like idk if I'm just hella stupid and completely missing the point but I know it's those two specifically that makes it hard for me to fully ship it. I just wanna fucking pry them open and see what the hell they doing

3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

It's very funny to ship I'll give it that. It's literally just xichen trying to bring exes together because he's dating both of them at the same time. And mingjue and guangyao have to go along with it cause who the hell is gonna say no to xichen?

I like to think back to that scene in the untamed where xichen tells guangyao to call mingjue "Da-Ge" and they're both so fucking tense and awkward about it until guangyao does it. Mentally they're both like "ok let's never do that again" while xichen is like "yes :) this is going so well :)"
