im so mad that Noticing/Noticing Patterns is an alt right dogwhistle bc i really haven't found a better word for when i see interesting patterns in medias i like (i.e. tmnt 2012's Weirdness with black people, or ppl in gravity falls dunking on dipper for screaming/throwing/being "like a girl") and am uncomfortable with them but also recognize that they are part of greater patterns. am i making sense here

#it's probably like microaggressions?#except none of them are against Me and i havent seen anyone else talking about them and they are just little Uncomfortable Oddities #also if u dont know what i mean abt the 2012 thing look up tmnt 2012's character list #then take note of how many of them are black/voiced by black VAs #and then out of those black characters keep track of 1) which ones get mutated and 2) how many are villains/antagonists #it's. a little yikes
