Working for a dying company is kinda weird, its quarter past 2 in the afternoon and me and my manager and supervisor are all just chilling in the office on our phones explicitly doing nothing since theres no work to do
#its been like this for probs 2 months#like its gotten worse over that time#but ive p much always had very little to do#cuz i was hired in a big change period for the company when there was loads to do#but that was all basically finished by the time i joined#so ive genuinely spent maybe a quarter of my days here doing a full days work#whicj is kinda nice in that it hasnt been particularly stressful#but my new job is gonna be in a team leader type position which i honestly dont know that im qualified for#but they were really keen on me even when i genuinely emphasised my lack of experience in my interviews#i hand in my notice on either monday or tuesday#so thats likely to be a shit storm#cuz they think im gonna branch out from technical n start taking up quality jobs as well#also im the sole person with a chemistey degree left so theyre gonna struggle with getting re-approvals next year#but since the quality team has been decomayed since i joined i honestly dont think there gonna even be able to keep their iso9001 standards#so it doesnt matter too much in the end
