I headcanon that Foo Fighters would be the third/fifth wheel tagging along with their friends (Jolyne and Ermes with their respective boyfriends) as they didn't understand the concept of the dating scene.

foof is just there to have a good time and sip on water, just hanging out with the fam and not worrying too much about whats going on. probably says this when someone comes up to f.f. asks "You know you're like a fifth wheel, right? On these guys's dates?"
