lantern rite is that one event/festival that always makes me incredibly emotional ever since the first one and, ngl, when they showed this years lantern rite i started crying ;w; the ost is so beautiful, all the liyue characters made a cameo, it feels so much more upbeat and happy compared to the last two lantern rites and idk maybe its the nostalgia of it all, knowing this is my third lantern rite? as silly as it might sound, it just feels really personal and touching and hhhjgdkja (probably bc the first one helped me through a pretty rough patch but anywhoodles)

(also once again ty tnbee for posting the extended rock version of the new lantern rite ost bc im sobbing while typing this)

and, as u all know, ALHAITHAM !!!!!! HES REAL !!!! HE HAS DUAL BLADES !!!!! HES SO PRETTY !!!!! HIS OST IS AN ABSOLUTE BANGER AND SO FUTURISTIC !!!! HE HAS SUCH A FUN GAMEPLAY !!!!! AND THE NEW DESERT AREA !! honestly im super stoked bc we have another harsh condition/status effect with the sandstorm !! and we see jeht again and im pretty sure thats jebraels tribe we visit?? and discover?? and also the eternal oasis?????? hello???? goddess of flowers????? its so pretty in an eerie way and im HERE for it 😩

AND AYAKA AND LISA SKINSNJKHDSGFKJDS they both look so good im sobbing biting my fist wtf 😭 im glad ayakas skin looks so nice in-game, bc the illustration imo was a bit eh. but lisa ;w;; my queen ;w;;; im hoping we get more lisa lore. if we dont i will cry like give me akademiya lisa, or just more backstory on her curse/illness or even her time in sumeru ;w;
